Hail good people!

Occasionally we like to dig deep and search for hidden gems that just lack the love and visibility. Sometimes those efforts are rewarded (check out our Hidden Gems list)

Not this time. While One Last Dungeon looked promising once we got to play it, it turned out to be a balance mess with a dire amount of pure, unadulterated jank. Unfortunately, it will never get the love it deserves as the game seems abandoned and thus, we can't recommend it.

A new review is up! - Necrocat (Careful recommendation)

Hail good people!

This week we engaged in some Cat Combat in Necrocat, a fairly straightforward card crawl (or move around a tiled board collecting weapons and managing health and damage) type of game.

Unfortunately a bit too straightforward as Necrocat provide any fun twist or depth to the established formula. With great games out there, like Meteorfall: Krumit's Tale, it's difficult to be satisfied with just the basics.

In the end the game is 'Ok' but too simplistic for our taste, but could appeal to more casual players.

Careful recommendation.
