Are we re-making Star Tropics using the source engine? I'm thinking of using unreal editor to make my own 2D side scroller but then thought about Star Tropics. I would ditch the tile by tile movement but still have the same look of tiles, more implied visually, than heavily defined.

I would like to make a totally new game though based on the concept of a (toy = weapon) world, although there were weapons you recieved later in the game, you mostly had a yo-yo and went on an adventure.
