The old Discord that I created and maintained over the last 6 months remains available for anyone who would like to use it, but I want to make it clear that it is no longer considered "official" by SRS. It remains a feminist friendly place to talk about and enjoy games, and I'm glad there are more feminist Discords now because that just means people have more options.

There have been some disagreements between myself the owner of this Steam group relating to all this, and as such I feel it is best I step down as the head admin here. Best of luck to those who will fulfill my responsibilities going forward, and to everyone here in Brds of a Feather!

Heroes of the Storm Meet Up, New Players Welcome

Hi all,

If you have any interest in Heroes of the Storm (Blizzard's answer to League of Legends and DotA) please feel free to send me a friend request (here or Blizz ID, see the Bnet Tag Exchange thread in the forum) or just leave a comment on this announcement.

I am happy to teach new players how to play, in hopes of finding enough to have a consistent group to play with :)

We have a Discord server with a nice amount of people in it, and that will be our primary team communication method while playing. Look it up if you haven't yet, it also has its own forum post here on Steam.

The neogaf website itself has been kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ iirc, though? idk.

In general I'd say join our Discord as it is far more active than this Steam group. Steam groups just aren't that great a tool for community organizing. Discord is where it is at~

These seem good, they have their own subbreddits and everything. but i'm not a member so i don't know for sure

The neogaf community is supposed to be active and is a very well moderated group with no bad apples whatsoever but even though i have a forum account i don't know how to join them
