Why have other systems not retaliated, and why would retaliation be important?
MethamKetamine 16 mai 2013 à 12h33
The rebirth of National Socialism would be the rebirth of natural Man himself. National Socialism - The only system that has dared retaliate to Judaism head-on and with full force!

Steam will always win.
Ranmyakki 11 mai 2013 à 7h51
Unfortunately it is still considered a competitor, only due to the fact that they sell products from the same market. Even if one company is being greedy with what they sell, and who else sells it.
76561198040625918 10 mai 2013 à 13h02
Origin is a disaster. Steam is much better than Origin anyway.
god 10 mai 2013 à 9h57
I came here to say that Origin is not a real competitor, mainly because it is horrible, doesn't work correctly etc.
76561198040625918 22 mars 2013 à 17h16
Dead Space 3 wont be coming to Steam since it is published by EA. EA rejected Steam's agreement to sell games here, and instead it is available on Steam's competitor Origin.
Kit Kat! 21 mars 2013 à 14h37
just simply waiting for dead space 3 on steam i have it for X-BOX 360 im on chapter 10 or 11 out of 19
76561198040625918 16 mars 2013 à 23h27
I'd like to see the future of this game series, I hope it does great in the future so we can support it one day. Anyway, what are some other games that you say are as good as warhammer or better of which you have played... Or was WH the best?
Precursor 16 mars 2013 à 4h39
Well, like said: Games Workshop owns the license and have given it to 3 developers by now: Relic (which is part of SEGA now) Creative Assembly (SEGA) and some little studio :P
So, warhammer games have little to no chance to die out
76561198040625918 10 mars 2013 à 0h04
Haha, with lots of melee combat this would of worked great for Kinect while being a TPS game. Would become the most popular hand to hand combat training game lol. And games from the 1990s are always great, that video was epic. The series should get more light put on it, it seems to have died down since the bankruptcy of THQ sadly...
Precursor 8 mars 2013 à 5h09
On a side note: I found an old (1990) short film/clip of a group of Space Wolves Terminators cleansing a Hive City (like said, massive human cities having 100 of millions of citizens) of a Gene Stealer cult (human looking Tyranids)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZBplpT3Iy4
Precursor 8 mars 2013 à 5h08
Well, due to the huge amount of melee combat, a TPS is thus better suited for it.... since it would be more like GeoW or so. An FPS could never show all the awesome action... and you couldnt see your armor/character.... and I love to see that, esp. with power armor or Tactical Dreadnought Armor (or Terminator armor in short :P)
76561198040625918 7 mars 2013 à 17h19
What I meant was a FPS open world game with a space aspect to it while traveling between planets and space combat. That would be the best in my opinion, not a TPS either.
Precursor 7 mars 2013 à 4h37
Nope, an MMOTPSRPG would be the best.... that is, Dark Millenium online...
An EVE online like thing would be bad, no one gives two sh*ts about the Aeronautica Imperialis, the Chaos Fleet, Air Cast etc....
76561198040625918 6 mars 2013 à 18h06
I didn't mean exactly an MMO, what i meant was something like Oblivion or Skyrim that it would be an open world game, and the world would be a few planets that you could visit and each would hae its own campaign. If there was an MMO I'd say something like Eve Online would work for it with the updating style of it.
Precursor 6 mars 2013 à 4h13
Well, like said, Dark Millenium Online, if it would finaly come out, would be awesome. Also, a Total War type of game is nice for the setting, due to the many factions which sometimes unite or even fight eachother even if they are on the same side, like Chaos Daemons and Chaos Marines or Renegade Guardsmen, or like Inquisition against Imperial Guard or Space Marines.... etc
76561198040625918 5 mars 2013 à 19h04
This sounds like it could be an epic open world (MMO?) type game in the future with all these factions and the massive universe with greater graphics of course. I hope something like that can be made from this franchise one day in the future...
Precursor 5 mars 2013 à 4h34
Well, honestly, Chaos. The amount of freedom in comparison to the others is huge. Yes, you submit to the dark gods and have a chance to be truned into a mindless warpspawn, but no one is gonna forbit you to use alien technology, sorcery, etc.... You do what you want, enslave a planet, kill em all, or even make a drink out of them (like Devram Korda did)
Everyone can serve chaos (except necrons and nids), Eldar just cant side with Slaanesh, due to the fact that he/she/it eats and rapes their souls, so siding with khorne or tzeentch would preserve them..... some orks serve khorne or even the 5th god Malal, who is an enemy of all of the dark gods.
The second best could be the Tau, but aint a fan of a "caste" system.....
It is awesome to be a necron, but no one else can become a necron :P
So yeah, Chaos in general and the Tau Empire, since everyone can side with them
76561198040625918 4 mars 2013 à 15h53
Which one is the best/worst in your opinion, and who is the best to side with?
Precursor 4 mars 2013 à 5h19
Dark Eldar = Based on the dark mega Craftworld of Commoragh, a place, where in every corner you can get killed or raped. The place is massive, bigger than any other city, ever. It is ruled by Asdrubael Vect, Archon of the mightiest of all kabals, while "streets"... ok districts are ruled by kabals, their Archons, allied Humonculi Covens and Wyches.
Tau = The largest "young" civilisation, They are based on asian cultures, but also a bit on communism and union. They are divided into casts, with different duties, but are extremly friendly in comparison to the other races, spreading the Greater Good or Tau`va as they call it.
Tyranids = Just nasty bugs who ate cupple of galaxies. They are ruled by the colective hive mind, taking all genetic material they can find to create new races
Others = There is a wast number of renegade non-humans, minor xeno races etc who have their own empires
Precursor 4 mars 2013 à 5h11
Imperium of Man = theocratic oligarchy, ruled by the High Lords of Terra in the Emperor`s name
Chaos = differes, there is no united chaos empire, the Traitor Legions reside on their daemon worlds ruled by the immortal primarchs, while others roam as pirates, have their own daemon worlds, or even 100-300 worlds large empires
Eldar = after the Fall, they lost all Krone Worlds, thus being forced into the web way and their Craftworlds (massive ships harboring billions of citiuzens). Some Eldar live primitive on maiden worlds, riding dinosaurs. The eldar are ruled by the Autachs of their Craftworlds, the Farseers, Warlocks and the mighty Aspect Warrior Pheonix Lords
Necrons = They are mostly at sleep, but are ruled by Dinasties, like Egypt, every Tomb World has it`s own "pharaoh", but he is amongst the last to rise.
76561198040625918 3 mars 2013 à 17h20
Hm, interesting... I'd expect at least some sort of marine vehicles, maybe for surprise attacks? That must have been epic, if it was. Anyways what types of beleifs did the factions hold in this series? Where they mostly: monarchist, feudalist, socialist, democratic, etc?
Precursor 3 mars 2013 à 4h00
Actually.... I reasides that there was never talk of many nautic vehicles in the lore.... at all o.O
76561198040625918 1 mars 2013 à 21h31
Do any of these games ever feature nautical vehicles or units?
Precursor 24 févr. 2013 à 4h50
Ok, the 9 factions are just in Soulstorm (DoW1 series). There is a unit cap (infantry cap and vehicle cap, tho it just became unit cap in DoW2 series). Units are, like said, vehicles and infantry. There are special infatry units (commanders) 1 main and 1-2 secondary which you "build" (for chaos, the main commander is a Chaos Lord/ Daemon Prince, while the secondaries are the Sorcerer and Greater Daemon of Khorne)
From vehicles you got normal ones, walkers and air (one air unit per faction, except some :/ )
Infrantry can have different specialistations, close combat, ranged, stealth, anti-vehicular, shock attack, etc....
This is just in soulstorm, since the games before and after it do not have this many factions nor air vehicles
76561198040625918 23 févr. 2013 à 14h17
Since there are 9 playable factions would not that limit the amount of units per each team? And how many units are there per team as well what are their catagories?
Precursor 23 févr. 2013 à 1h52
Well, quite balanced. As for DoW1:S, all tho it has 9 factions (of which some even gather different resorces) it is quite balanced. Same for DoW2:R which has, due to the smaller size, a far bigger tactical component and makes you feel closer to the units, thus seeing the differences between factions.... but it is balanced.... save for Tyranids, which are at times OP, but due to that, no one plays them anymore :P
76561198040625918 22 févr. 2013 à 18h50
How balanced is the game based on units, resources, strcuctures, etc.?
Precursor 15 févr. 2013 à 1h31
Another thing, in DoW2 series has a focus on which commander you use, they have different abilities and different skills. Unlike in DoW1 series, you have 1 commander, but you can mostly add another one (Chaos Sorcerer, Priest, Etheral) boostig morale.
Besides, if DoW1 had DoW2`s graphics, it would be the best RTS today :3 IMO
Well, in DoW1 series you really had many buildings to build: HQ, Armory, Temple, Generators, Machine Pit, Turrents, Daemon Pit (at least on the CSM side). Well, there is a lot of difference in factions in Soulstorm
Precursor 15 févr. 2013 à 1h26
In DoW1 and it`s expansions you had Strategic Points and Critical Locations which generate Requisition (strategic points can be upgreated with a turrent on it) while you build generators around your base to create Energy. Most advanced units take both energy and requisition to build (except necrons, who only run on energy... all times)
In DoW2 you have Requisition Points which generate Requisition and you cant upgreat them with a turrent, while, ofc, you cant build generators in your HQ, but around Energy Nodes.
76561198040625918 14 févr. 2013 à 13h52
How are resources gathered?
Precursor 14 févr. 2013 à 5h02
Well, in DoW1 and it`s expansions, yes, but in DoW2, there is only one base....
76561198040625918 13 févr. 2013 à 23h19
Are there main bases with structures like in C&C games for example, left out C&C4 because that game was just bad...
Precursor 13 févr. 2013 à 4h26
Yep, there is a lot of cover I both DoW1 series and DoW2. In DoW1 water would have a negative effect, it makes your army move slower and they are more likely to be killed, holes act as possitive cover, they keep your units safe.... In DoW2 you can enter buildings and there is more cover (since it is unit focused)
