imo 720p isnt hd, right now the pc version still has the edge in graphics because it can actually run at 1080p.

I think this is a great idea and agree with LOL Waaaaaaq that it will encourage people who have never played it before to try it before the sequel comes out.
The only problem I have is that it didn't mention anything about a PC release- if it is on PC then I will definitely be getting it

I think the re-release is to spark interest into the series before the sequel comes out. To me this is pointing out a possible fall 2011 release for BG&E2 or early 2012. After all, not many people got to play the first game for Xbox 1 and PS2.

Meh, won't get it. Ubisoft just milks more money out of it than they could due the hype.

Seriously, they should rather work on the sequel than to try copying Sony+Microsoft. If they want to make a rerelease that badly, they should release the open source or an level editor of Prince of Persia (trilogy) and Beyond Good and Evil. This would be worth then.
