Avanti Gaming's website and server have been officially shutdown.

Though our website and game server no longer exist, we will continue to push forward with what means we have at our disposal: TeamSpeak 3, Discord, Steam, etc.

We will always be looking for that lifeline game opportunity to bring us all back together for a mutual purpose, preferably something roleplay oriented but not necessarily just that.

To be clear, we're not disbanding, just cutting costs on products (server, website, etc.) we were not fully utilizing anyway. In the future, distant or otherwise, it is quite possible we will return when the time comes and an opportunity presents itself.

In the meantime, you can always stay in touch via Steam, our 15 slot TeamSpeak 3 server, and our Discord server.

Ubisoft's "The Crew" MMO Racing Game FREE Until October 11th on Uplay

Title pretty much says it all.

You should be able to claim the game through the Ubisoft club website while logged in but an easier way for most would be to access this game through the Uplay launcher.

The game will remain free until October 11th. If you've claimed it before then, it will remain free for you.

Note: This does not include "The Wild Run" DLC.

Monitoring GTA V 3rd Party Multiplayer Projects

Hello all,

I wanted to take a moment to mention some of the GTA V MP projects some of us are following in regard to their progress. There is no guarantee any of them will be successful or that they won't be shutdown at some point by Take 2 Interactive (Rockstar Game's Overlords).

There is hope that eventually (whether that time is now or not is yet to be determined) Take 2 Interactive will cease to care about V multiplayer projects. Whether it be because their default online mode ages and players lose interest or because they slowly but surely stop supporting it, eventually going after these MP projects may be more trouble than it's worth.

If anyone out there is willing and able to collaborate with us on a full scale RP server project, whether it be programming, web design, graphics, back end development, etc. we hope that in the near future we have an opportunity to work with you. If you know anyone who could potentially help in any of these endeavors, it may be worth bringing them into the fold in the future as these projects advance.

With that said, it may be too soon to get into the details while there is still uncertainty about the longer term success of these V MP projects.

Those behind gtanet.work appear to be the most competent of the groups currently working on a V MP project. This is determined based upon their choice of programming language, gameplay videos showing progress and fundamental mechanics that work, a community that does not appear to be toxic (yet), and a consideration to go open source with their code. If we're being honest, there is no reason the code should not already be open sourced as have past projects. This is the only concerning factor with this project so far.
