Anomalous Materials Youtube Channel

Anomalous Materials is a youtube Channel created by Columbidae. It is home to the various SFM projects created by Columbidae. Pretty self explanitory.

If you join this group, please understand that I will use the announcements thing to mark new releases.

I will also be using this to alert people when I am hosting servers for things like map playtesting or fooling around in Synergy or Gmod. Stay tuned for fun stuff I suppose

Casting Call: "Garrysmod DarkRP"

Hello! I wanted to try something I've never done before: coordinating a good ol Gmod machinima based around DarkRP. This is something I had wanted to try for ages, and now I really wanna give it a try.

So this is a casting Call! I need some actors to help make this thing. If you feel like you wanna help with this thing, there are some requirements:
1. Own Garrysmod
2. Have a Mic

If you don't have a mic you can still help by being a silent extra, but having ppl with mics would be most helpful. There's not really a script, just a set of events that happen. It's not a serious project either, just a fun little thing I really wanna try. Comment below if you'd be interested in helping out. Recording this thing probably shouldn't take very long (but I've never done a machinima like this, so it'll be a "learning experience")

Again, comment if you wanna help. If a handful of you are interested, more announcements will follow with more info

for an SFM creator, the saxxy awards are a very important event. I too, will be working on stuff for it. What about you? You have until November 11th to figure it all out, though!

Thanks. You can do it my dude. work to your strengths and understand your limits. That way, when you do break limits, you ultimately add on to what you can do. I'm glad I can help inspire that

Hello!
I want to say that you are a huge inspiration to me. I always wanted to make things of big scale, interesting themes and make it as good as I can. Seeing your animations is in one way inspiring, in other ways it's the "I'll never be that good" kind of feeling, but that's not necessarily a bad thing - this way I won't ignore my shortcomings and mistakes.
Your videos also made me want to give models I create some life and try animation, seeing how you employ a lot of customly made stuff in your videos.
