Thank you everyone for your support throughout the years.

Sadly, the rumors you may have been hearing are true and it brings with me and the rest of the leadership, a heavy heart to discontinue the Alstroemeria Guild. It has been dwelling on for a few months but our decision was made when we could no longer support our vision. I believe it is time for every one of us to move on from this stepping stone and be free to pursue other opportunities.

Originally we were formed under a rocky foundation but soon stabilized once we found our focus in delivering a great community and down to earth leadership. Most of our leaders including myself have had no experience managing a guild before, and getting to sit down and meet and get to know each one of you was an incredible learning experience of its own.

A lot of Alstroemeria features reflected on my own personal life, from when I was writing a resume (applying for staff), doing an interview (applying for the guild) and first getting a job a few back in 2011 and the overall organized structure of the military (officers with different responsibilities) when I joined in 2014.

Our peak years was during the leadership of Kohane, Doctrina, Lonicon in 2015 as well as Drakkion, Celinus, Valiancy in 2016 when we ran many events and the guild was alive and organic and people were always on and willing to help each other. It was a truly magnificent sight to behold that our culture of hospitality became synonymous with the name, Alstroemeria.

I believe we had a great run while it lasted however, real life has caught up to us very quickly. Each of the staff soon found it more difficult to continue with work and school playing into the mix of daily life. Even I am finding it extremely difficult to find time to write this between all the military exercises in preparation for a possible looming war with North Korea.
 
The following things will happen:
• Alstroemeria Forum will revert to ad supported
• Alstroemeria Forum privileged information will be archived and classified
• Alstroemeria Guild Website will be decommissioned and archived
• Archived versions of the Alstroemeria Guild Website will be made public
• Alst.co will no longer redirect to the guild website
• Discord server will NOT be discontinued in the time being however, channels and groups may be changed to reflect Guild closure
• Discord server will be wiped of privileged information
• Alstroemeria Guild in Mabinogi will not be renewed after August 2017
• Donation Box and Guild Store assets are to be liquidated
• Alstroemeria Rewards will reopen temporarily from 12 August 2017 to 30 August 2017 for liquidation of credits
• Alstroemeria Rewards Credits will no longer be valid after September 2017
• All members currently in Alstroemeria Guild in Mabinogi are scheduled to be removed in September 2017

Alstroemeria and Mabinogi itself was a truly wonderful experience to have with every single person here and I will miss all the time we had together and all the friends we made. And really, I will miss you a lot. I might not be around Mabinogi anymore but I really do hope our paths will cross again.
