It has been a long time since I posted something about the timer or the server in general. Here is what we have been working on:

Timer v2.2 (the largest update to the timer since the release)
Web UI v1.0 (an interface that will display all rank information from the timer and more)
Website Redesign (making a whole new website from scratch)

Let me explain further.

The newest timer update is very rich in features and code redesigns. Some big points to be excited about:

Strafe Sync system getting completely reworked
HUD styles (you can now have your static HUD you've always wanted)
A new client pref system (to keep your timer settings for next time or on map change)
Many bug fixes
And many more things I'd rather not spoil here.

Why redesign the website?

The website was never meant to be anything permanent. It was a temporary solution to a big problem. In my opinion, it's too big and keeps from just giving you the content you want. This is why I am completely redesigning the webpage from scratch, bringing a whole new website interface with additional features.

All of this will be coming out around the same time, as well as the skill surf and bhop coming back up and another new server making it's debut. I'll keep you updated on the progress.

Staff applications are coming back. Looking to bring a lot of new staff on board! When the new website goes up, there will be an interface for you to be able to apply whenever you want. (will show if your application is accepted, pending or denied)

I've been toying around with this idea for a server. Hear me out:

CS:GO Pictionary.

The basic concept is that one user is picked as the drawer and the rest are the observers. The drawer then picks from a selection of layers and draws on the wall. First to guess what the drawer is drawing wins. This continues until one user hits a certain amount of points and is declared the winner.

There is a lot to expand on and do with this concept but I think it is quite an interesting idea as sort of a party game. There would be an award ceremony at the end of the game (declaring the 1st, 2nd and 3rd winner) on pedestals, and the winner would get a prize from a selection of different prizes, ranging in difficulty. More ideas to come of course, and happy to hear ideas in the comments. If you could, take a second to vote on whether or not you would play this gamemode:

Please note that some of the features listed arent fully working at this very moment but will be later tonight. (specifically the !title and !changetitle)

- !tier or !maptier will display the map tier
- Fixed hiding radar, radar does not show up anymore
- !hud will hide your hud
- Recent completions added to !profile
- Replay file location is stored within the record, thus allowing a deletion of a WR without breaking the replay.
- Possible fix for bots sometimes despawning
- !title and !changetitle added for VIPs
- !colors added for VIPs to change chat color
- Minor bug fixes

You have to login to steam so that paypal can grab your Steam64 ID. That's pretty much all signing into steam is for. After you donate for VIP, you can visit this page and see your package, length in days, date that you paid, your paypal transaction ID and the days left in that package.
