ZMBY was founded by members local in MA, after discovering Counter-Strike 1.5 at a gaming LAN and eventually getting hooked on the very first custom zombie map. The [ZOMBIE] clan was born in 2006 and eventually the group grew to a Ventrilo server with over 250 users, several custom servers including one with zombie mode, and a website. The clan would go on to try Competitive Counter-Strike and qualified CAL-IM.

Core members of the ZMBY Squad would move on to other games like WoW, Starcraft, CS:GO, PUBG, Apex Legends, Insurgency Sandstorm, RS Seige, and many more. We've changed the tag to simply [ZMBY] and, we're in Discord!
