As the front page shows I have decided to pull down the ZF Server, until the 3.0 update goes live. With the code in such a state of flux, we cannot expect anything we build will remain after the new version. The groups will remain intact, and once the new update goes LIVE I intend to get a dedicated host for us to play on. At that point ZF will become a PUBLIC server. So see you all soon and I look forward to the upcoming war against the undead.

Changes to the server teams people.

There will be three teams available to players on the ZF server.

1.) "Zombie Farmers" - Core group "All building and farming should be done under this team. This is also the group we will be in when raiding other servers. Rules are simple for this group, you shoot anyone not in the group.

*This means if one player turns to a SKIRMISHER/BANDIT, every player in "Zombie Farmers" is expected to kill them on sight and aid other "Zombie Farmers" in killing them.*

2.)"ZF-Blue" - Skirmish Squad Blue for those wishing to fight on the ZF server. This group is to be used only during ADMIN ran skirmish events, or during player arranged duels. "Duels are had at YOUR OWN RISK!" as you WILL be shot by "Zombie Farmers".

3.)"ZF-Red" - Skirmish Squad Red for those wishing to fight on the ZF server. This group is to be used only during ADMIN ran skirmish events, or during player arranged duels. "Duels are had at YOUR OWN RISK!" as you WILL be shot by "Zombie Farmers".

Let me make it clear that griefing and trolling players not in a Skirmish group will not be tolerated. We are a team here, if you feel the need to be a jerk go join a random server and have at it. Any player not in the core group should be shot on sight period...

As ADMIN I will consider cases of griefing and trolling on a case by case basis, these cases include but are not limited to raiding others storage boxes, destruction of buildings/structures, verbal abuse (chat or Skype). This is a BETA game. Things go wrong and I cannot fix everything that might go wrong... But I will be backing up data often. Be prepared if someone does something destructive. (Example - Lures a train of zombies into a structure built by Bob and demolishes two days work. "HAHA Lolz!") The ADMIN has the right to rollback the server to the state it was at last backup. Regardless of your new deck you just built and how it sucks that YOU are losing your work. Pre-existing structures get PRIORITY always, no matter how cool your deck is. Repeat offenders will be subject to the BAN hammer. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Due to an unknown problem with item resets on player files. (Shane logged in completely naked after latest update.) Server side data has been reset, and I will be backing up the data daily from here on out.

So if you had plans of your own personal raider camp, this is a good time to do it. The huggie feelie days of living together are over people unless you guys decide to keep up the practice. I suggest starting splinter Squads here in the server for skirmish type battles.
