Weather for the 28th

According to various meteorological websites, the weather on the 28th will be Slightly cloudy with light winds... In other words a generic English day! Sadly the last 2 meetups were assaulted by the Pegasi and their rainclouds, so it looks like this one will be safe from their watery tyranny!

Although keep in mind we will be outside at several points during the day so bringing one of those nifty pocket-sized waterproof jackets or even an umbrella wouldn't go amiss! Better safe then drenched ^_^

However with a low of 12°C it would be recommended to bring some warm clothes,

Leeds Mega-Meetup July 28th Details!

Sorry for posting this so late, the idea of the Steam group was to get a bunch of people in the group making these announcements worthwhile. At the Mega-Meetup I'll be going around recruiting people into here so hopefully we'll see a massive increase as we have already ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over 30 confirmed attendees and will surely get more on the day!

I know I'll have fun and I'm sure you all will too! The link for the thread is below which explains in detail the plans, but I will go over the basics here as well

The Plan :-

- Meet At 10-11 AM, July 28th at the WHSmiths inside the Leeds Train Station (You can't miss it, and if you do just run around with your pony shirt and merch hanging out until we round you up)

- Wait until 11:30 AM for the stragglers who get delayed or slept in like silly ponies

- Get nom-noms from either Gregs, Subway, McD's or Burger King... Or just pack a lunch like I did last time ^_^

- Head to the Marriot Hotel Square to eat and socialize and scare the locals

- Hit the road to the Parkinson's Building as we have a University Theatre booked! Hellz yeah!

- Snap some pix

- Watch some episodes!

- Buy some Apples!

- Merch shopping from various dealers such as ASDA, Forbidden Planet and even WILKINSONS

- Quiz time! I hope you remember the fanon name of background pony #462, I know I do so your in for some competition!

- Walk the dusty road to the Strawbs Bar and steal their function room, then FILL IT WITH PONY (http://www.strawbs.com/)

- Pizza at a random place opposite the Strawbs bar for convinience and cheapness (Pominator says it's good! :D)

- Back to the square to chillax and socialize and more scaring locals

- Those heading out for the night will be escorted to the Train station, those staying will head to their appropriate accommodations

- Those staying will most likely get drunk, again, although I won't be staying so somepony needs to take pictures of everyone while they sleep for me, kthnx <3
