Welcome to XxMADxX.

About us:

We are an aussie gaming community who play many types of games, for fun, and for competition. We are gradually expanding, recently reaching our goal of the 100 member mark. We are associated with Massively Mad Gaming, which is our parent group, with xMAD being a smaller community and invite only.

While we may be invite only, we're happy to take on new members. Add [xMAD] Mad Ninja (me) or [xMAD] Tgspy as a friend, tell us that you want to join and we'll have a quick interview with you. Don't worry though - it's not THAT bad... heh heh heh heh, hahahahaha, MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! *ahem* Where was I?

==== Group Rules ====

1. Obey the admins. If they do something you don't find appropriate and/or acceptable, report it directly to Mad Ninja or Tgspy.

2. Respect other members. Now, I'm not saying "be nice", but I am telling you to respect others, and realise that everyone is allowed their own opinion.

3. Try to keep swearing / bad language to a minimum when posting comments, announcements, events, or talking in the group chat. A little swearing here and there is accepted, but don't go over the top.

4. No trolling, minging, griefing, hating, etc.

5. No posting of any pornographic, discusting, rude etc. links in announcements, events, comments, group chat and any xMAD related location. Referencing pornographic content is also frowned upon.

6. Use common sence.

7. If you write anything promoting Justin Beiber, One Direction, SWAG, YOLO etc, I WILL EAT YOU! NOM NOM NOM!... Because yolo.

8. Use the force!

So im sure at this point a lot of you are wondering whats going on with MMGA and xMad. After lengthy discussions with Mad Ninja about the future of the two groups, it has been decided that xMad shall be abandoned. Shock horror, but with the steady loss of a couple of group members every few days, we are letting the group dissolve on it's own.

Now this does not mean we are abandoning the two groups completely. We are instead devoting all of our resources, time and effort towards MMGA. After some more discussions between me and ninja, we have decidede that we shall be keeping MMGA tight group, consisting of only xMad and MMGA admins and above, or anyone in xMad that is active in the community (You know who you are). Ninja has also stepped down from the role of owner, and has given the reigns to me(Bow down mortals). This is not a day of sadness for the dissolving of the good old xMad, we all knew it would come to it one day. Me and Ninja will be working with the other long time members to rebuild MMGA from the ground up, creating a tight group of just us friends. To anyone who is not apart of this group, please don't feel bad. We simply didn't get the oppurtunity to play with you as much as we would have liked. It has been a good time, so to all xMAD members and to anyone who is leaving this community for good, I bid you farewell. We came a fair way, going from a small 20-30 members, to a full 100 members strong. But as life goes, all good things must come to an end.

So as we sign off one more time, the final announcement for xMad, Ninja and I would like to thank each and every one of you for taking the time to devote yourself to our humble group.

So long, and may your prayers be forever answered by our lord and saviour gaben.

xMAD in a State of Decay

Aaaanyway, on a more serious note, I'm sure all of you are well aware that xMAD hasn't seen ANY use for a long while now, neither has MMGA. I am making this announcement to say that yes, xMAD has fallen on hard times lately, and to tell you what my plans are with the future of xMAD and MMGA.

Not long ago Co-owner Tgspy and I had a discussion regarding Servers, MMGA, and group events. While we only touched up briefly on the latter two, we did spend a lot of time discussing a server administration system that will work. It's all a WIP at the moment, with no details set in stone, so I'm not going to reveal anything regarding that matter. What I will reveal, however, is that our plan is that when we get dedicated servers up and running (with a steady income to support them), we will host more group events and be active within xMAD and MMGA once more.

Our two biggest problems right now (with both MMGA and xMAD) is money, and group participation. Now, the problem with this is, to get money, we need people to participate in group events and play on and donate to our servers. But group participation is currently something we don't have. So what options do we have?

Well firstly, we could bribe the current members into participating more with rewards and prizes, but that costs money, which we generate from servers. So, the only valid option seems to be to recruit more people. How do we do that? Servers. How do we run servers? Money. How do we make people want to join our servers to donate money? An already existing and friendly community, which we can only get started from people in our group, which will require group participation. So as you can see, it's an endless loop of money, servers, and participation - all of which we don't have at the moment.

So, you may think that nothing is happening with xMAD and MMGA right now, but behind the scenes there's a lot of thinking and planning going on. I ask that all who wish to support xMAD, to please join MMGA, and also let myself (Mad Ninja) or Tgspy know that you wish to help. We will take any participation, for any is better than none, so don't feel like you need to be super dedicated :)
