Guillimans children and the rest of the benighted astartes of the imperium are gathering in forces these days. Supress your hatred brothers, the gods will them to grow. The unworthy are doing nothing more than gathering more skulls for us to harvest! While they enslave more to the shackles of the false god's lie our time has been devoted to the worship of those deserving. Soon our time to worship them on the battlefield will be at hand. Here is a muster for those still devoted to the faith.

For those active members who have proven themselves to fight with more tenacity than their brethren, we have multiple positions available. Depending on member involvement we may anointment multiple people for the same title. We are Word Bearer "Hosts" after-all. That and "the organizational make-up of each Host differs wildly as well, and can change depending on the whims of the Dark Apostle that leads it.

Ranks

Dark Apostle: Enforcer of the faith, leader of the host and vessel of the Dark Gods. Their will is interpreted by him and his warriors trust his word with total faith.

First Acolyte: Apprentice to the Dark Apostle, the Dark Acolyte will be his successor if he can fulfill the role.

Coryphaus: Tactician serving as middleman in between Dark Apostle and the Host. Determined by valor meaning those who seek the role will need to prove their worth on the battlefield. In charge of pursuing the highest of honours in combat.

Icon Bearer: Bears the favor of the gods

Gal Vorbak: (translated to "Blessed Sons")members who prove their martial prowess. Daemon possesed and the most feared infantry of any Host.

Crimson Lord of the Gal Vorbak: Mightiest of the Gal Vorbak.

Champions: Esteemed veterans of the long war and squad leaders. All champions will start off as aspiring champions and will need to prove themselves worthy of squad leadership if they wish to ascend.

Aspiring Champions: After the cream of the crop has been elevated to the higher ranks, those below them will be granted this title. Each champion will annoint one aspiring champion to represent them while absent.

Your own name It's not uncommon for a player to be recognized on the field for their playstyle, and esteemed titles given to them shall stick and they'll hold as much clout as champions.

Two new achievements have been added to Dawn of War 2 and they say a Necron Lord is about to be joining The Last Stand!
No word on when, or any official word, but keep your eyes peeled.

Major Group Changes - name, structure, additional group

Greetings brothers of chaos!

We've recently aqcuired the steam group "Word Bearers", yes the official name handle. If you're confused, this group is Word Bearer Hosts (WBH), and now we have a brother group, Word Bearers (WB). Both will be admined by yours truly.

The two groups will be divided:

Those who are active usually at least once a week, but preferably the spearhead of our Word Bearer forces. Our main focus will be Eternal Crusade, but anyone fighting for chaos in Space Marine or Dawn of War 2 will be accepted as well. This group is the Word Bearer Hosts. Eternal Crusade is opening on Steam Early Access very soon, and there well will rebrand (rename too) our Host based off the players who show up and the tactics we deploy!

Just fans. Those who wish to show Word Bearers allegiance, but have other duties to fulfill in the galaxy and do not wish to represent a clan, only a chapter who they love. This group will still have a ranking system (coming soon) but only for players who post events. Access will be give to those who ask. For membership, everyone will be accepted here. This is the Word Bearers (WB) group.

Most people here will fall into the (WB) group, and will be invited to the group if they dont already sign up. Once Eternal Crusade has finished Early Access and released the full game, all unactive players still in (WBH) will be removed as it will be

reserved for players looking for people to play games with.

This is late 2016 we're talking, so there's plenty of time to sign up for the

(WB) group.

we will be playing a huge Dark Crusade tornament soon, events will be put up soon on Red Thirst steam group just organising times ;)
These will be best out of 3, 1v1 matches. if its a tie, a decider match will take place, this will be a sudden death match, lose a point and lose the game.
