On the May 10th, we will have a test... and a tournament!

Yeah, I am talking about the first tournament in ACE, it will be: 1v1, sniper duel, Colosseum map, TDM mode.

Also the giveaway is moved to the date of test, but now there are 6 prizes (and therefore chances).

The conditions are:
1. Make models of characters, as well as their weapons and equipment.
2. You WILL have to do everything using a 2D concept (it’s better to start with and show it to me, I might tell you right away if there is something that I don't like).
3. Draw in the same style and adhere to any colour palette.
4. The size of the palette should not exceed 64 colors.
5. Maintain colour balance.
6. The scale does not matter, but I prefer low-resolution models.
7. The maximum size of the weapon is 1.5 blocks = model scale + model scale / 2.
8. Character size 3 blocks = model scale * 3.
9. Characters should reflect their personality, which is described below:
Recon - secretive and silent;
Pilot - uncertain but lucky;
Bombo - angry and unbalanced;
Major - brutal and serious;
Zombies - dead;

I’ve refactored all the code in the VoxCake Framework, now everything works fine, the game physics looks and works well, players with high hz monitors could play just fine, also optimized physics and network code, and now the max size of a map could be 2048x2048x2048(vs 512x256x512 in aos). Last version of VoxCake Framework will be uploaded on github in few days. Now I will start working on impoving mechanics and making 3 heigh block characters.

Also found a job, so im not sure if all stuff will be ready for the testing date, but I will make everything in my abilities for everything to be on time.

Today we completed the initial testing of the game.
Please remember that this version was a pre-alpha (at best), and it can act up sometimes, please report it to the "bugs" channel and we will work on it!

Many players were surprised by the fact that they saw something that was completely different from what they imagined. And that's fine.
Our goal is not to create a clone of AOS, but in fact, create the best voxel shooter that will be fun, give an opportunity for new relationships, and emotions for us - the players! Nevertheless, we are strongly inspired by AOS and are trying to save all the best sides of it that we loved so much.

Now we will work on fixing bugs and finalize everything that we have at the moment. After, we will begin to improve the game mechanics and try to make it closer to what we saw in AOS.
Ultimately we are planning to get help on Kickstarter which will give us an opportunity to collect funds in order to maintain quality servers, design, and music for the game.

For sure, this is a tough mission. We will go through it together. Thanks to everyone who participated in the testing!
