News from Vertigo Gaming!

Hello!

It's a sad day today to announce that Vertigo Gaming as of Nov. 19 will be terminating all our ZPS servers and our EU services. There are many reasons for this, but like everything else too much to go into here.

Basically real life and VG's wanting to move on to other games is the main catalyst for this. ZPS was a good game in it's hayday, but now, it's become the domain of certain people DDoSing other servers because they have players. We have weathered this storm for quite awhile and helped other communities the best we can weather the same storm. But we have had enough and decided to move on to other games to avoid all the drama. I hope the 3.0 ZPS Update breathes much needed life and other things back into the game.


But enough bad news, we have good news! Our Minecraft Servers are going along fine along with our 7DTD Starvation Server. So feel free to look us up in those games. Also we can be reached on Steam and on TS3 @ ts.vertigogaming.org


Thanks from all the Staff and Admins at VG and we like to thank our player base for sticking around for so long and hanging out!

Only a few people know just how much you guys have done for this game. I completely agree that the commnunity has never deserved such amazing individuals.

There is still hope for this game coming with the new update, and I believe it would not happened without you guys. We've all fought long and hard, but we've won, despite the losses. I do hope you guys consider putting your faith in this game again when problems that have been sacking the community for years are finally about to come to an end :)

We worked hard to keep things going, even beyond what most would consider healthy. I'm proud to say that I was part of what I consider one of the finest communities this game has seen. In its darkest hour, it was VG that kept the lights on for others to come up and do their thing.

Its a great loss for ZPS to see communities like VG leave, but its time to move on to something better and hopefully more fruitful than playing vanguard/goalie for an entire community for free. ZPS has been living on borrowed time that it didn't rightfully deserve. VG took the brunt of everything and has done more than enough for the community at large than most others would have. To VG: Thanks for the good times in ZPS. It was a pleasure working/playing with you all.

And with that, I am out too. No point in sticking around ZPS when there isn't really a game left to play. To everyone else: Good luck, you'll definitely need it now.

I'm sad to read this. Some of my best moments playing ZPS was on VG servers. Now it feels like an era has ended. I wish you good luck and good fortune with your future endeavors. Hope to catch you guys on the teamspeak soon!
