That'd be the perfect group of folks to get plugged in! I think the long term goals would be multi weekend tournaments (as a sports fan, March Madness comes to mind). We're very excited with our current growth, over 10 teams registered in just 24 hours, and that's just within our very limited sphere of influence. As we learn from this go-around we'd love to expand and try to provide structure and support to his awesome game mode in the NA community!

Ah, well if the goal is to be a bit small, that's fine. If you don't have the goal to be small next time around I would love to get Jump Academy (8k people group I head) involved. It would probably be a lot of fun. Hope this goes down well.

Awesome question! In some ways, i think the GOAL is for not a lot of people to participate. This is in many ways a feeler to the interest of the community. The plan is to do this semi regularly... so if we spent 2 months planning and sorting and did a bigger tournament, that'd be awesome. But that doesn't mean we can't do a spur of the moment tournament ALSO... this will be a learning experience for all involved! This one will be smaller i'm sure, but the minimum prize pool is set (and awesome!) and we've already had a couple donations come in. We'll just see where it leads us :)

It's great you guys are doing something like this, but isn't the date a little too soon? Registration and information was only given out yesterday, only a full week before the competetition begins from announcing it. What's the plan if not a lot of people participate?
