Welcome to our brand-new Dev Diary!

Hello there, Steam folks!
We’re newcomers here on Steam, and it feels only right to introduce ourselves properly. Welcome to our brand-new Dev Diary, where we’ll take you behind the scenes of our visual novel development adventure!

I’ll keep the tech jargon to a minimum and try to make this a fun, bite-sized update about what we’re working on. My name’s UberPie and I’m the lead (and, uh, only - cue dramatic violin music) artist and creative director on the project. We’ve been crafting this story-driven epic for over seven years, releasing 27 consecutive updates along the way, and building a pretty solid community. Now, it’s one of the biggest adult visual novels out there - maybe even the biggest, though I won’t brag (too much).

Over the years, we’ve gained tons of experience, and we’re finally ready to leap Steam! We’re reworking all those 27 updates from scratch, updating the art, expanding the story, and enriching the world of Taffy Tales. We’ve decided to package everything into three massive seasons. With your support, we aim to wrap up this arc and (fingers crossed) keep the story rolling forward after that.

For now, this is just the first season, and let me tell you - it’s big. We couldn’t cram all the spicy hardcore content in right away because, hey, good storytelling requires a proper buildup! But don’t worry, there’s plenty to enjoy, and things are only going to get hotter as we move forward.

We’re working with a small but scrappy crew for such a colossal project. Here’s the lineup:

UberPie (me!) - artist, creative director, and your friendly Dev Diary narrator.
One programmer - my "partner-in-crime" since day one, who’s been through fire and brimstone with me.
Two phenomenal writers - They breathe life into the world and characters of Taffy Tales.
One animator - our secret weapon, who’s worked on past updates and will be crucial in overhauling the upcoming seasons.
That’s it - just five people tackling a massive, sprawling game. Honestly, it’s been a wild ride, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Thanks to the momentum we gained on SubscriberStar last year, we’re shifting into high gear. We’ll be posting updates on Steam (if you don’t see us, make sure adult content is enabled in your Steam settings) and staying active here. That said, you can still follow our Dev Diaries on SubscriberStar, which will feature exclusive content for our supporters.

The scope of the project has grown significantly thanks to all the goals we’ve hit, which means we’ve expanded the story, added more animations, and fine-tuned the code to accommodate new features. Honestly, we’re loving it - it gives us the freedom to make the game exactly how we envision it. And yes, that means more details, more polish, and more moments you lovely perverts are sure to enjoy.

Given the game’s scale, we’re taking a cautious approach to sharing media and trailers. We don’t want to spoil the fun or show content that’s still in progress, so we’ll be releasing sneak peeks gradually. I’ve got some awesome ideas for how to spotlight our waifus, and I think you’re gonna love it.
