At Computex, Sapphire showed of its Radeon HD 7970-based Vapor-X 6GB, which gets it name from its dual-fan vapor chamber cooling. It has an eight phase VRM for the GPU and is made from a 12 layer PCB and Black Diamond Chokes, which allow the card to run cooler and more efficient. Sapphire claims that its product has improved stability, more overclock room and lower peak temperature compared to the reference model. This, of course, makes room for a button for instant overclocking to 1100 MHz for the GPU and 6000 MHz for the memory.

Question is why would you need this much memory for a single card unless your planning to go well above 6 monitors or using 3 4K monitors in eyefinity which would cost way too much for even the rich gamers.

It's really a no-brainer for gaming enthusiasts willing to spend thearound £300, so really the hard part is which GeForce GTX 670 do you go for? NVIDIA's reference design is strong enough, but we've seen ASUS go one better with the GTX 670 DirectCU II TOP and now EVGA's putting forward its own unique proposition with the GTX 670 FTW.

A list of what is purported to be the full Nintendo Wii U hardware specs has appeared online. According to the document, which was first posted on VGleaks and then supported by alleged industry insiders posting on NeoGAF, the developer version of Nintendo's console has 3GB of RAM.

Presuming this is true, it's likely the final retail model will have around 1.5GB with around 500MB devoted to the console's operating system.

*Tri core PowerPC architecture
*AMD r7xx (4xxx) series of graphics processors
*1.5Gb ram, 500mb for OS
*8GB MLC NAND for Applications

To me its a disappointment but then they have never advertized this as a next gen console.
