Hello everyone it's Phyznix. It's been about a year since our last tournament! I know the rate of tournaments seemed to slowly fade throughout the few years we had the group. But every once in awhile I feel like bringing it back, or group members confront me with interest to bring back the tournaments.

Well that is exactly why I am here today!

For those of us still interested in playing in tournaments please make your voice known in the comments! If you are, what kind of game would you like to see played?

If we get enough interest, I will happily start up a new competition!

Looks like we have completed yet another tournament everyone! Here are the results:

You may notice that the prizes aren't exactly spread out like they were before. Piggy Guy has offered to give $10 of his prize money to LightMaldor.

Hello! It is now time to get this tournament underway!

This is a double elimination tournament meaning if you lose one your first match you are still able to make a comeback through the lower bracket.

This is also an ongoing tournament expect it to take a week or two, or even longer!

Each match will be a best 2 out of 3 while grand finals will be a best of 5.

I will put up deadlines however to push the tournament along.
The deadline for the the first two rounds will be a week from now, 7-21 at 10pm Est.

You may go as far in the bracket that you are able to, you are not limited.

If time runs out in a match sudden death will NOT be the deciding factor of the match. Whoever has the most stocks by the end of the timer will be the winner, if you both have the same amount of stocks, whoever has the least amount of damage % will be the winner.
If you die at the same time, again sudden death will not decide the winner. If you tie you must play another match with: 1 stock, same character, and same stage, that will decide the winner of the game.

Take a look at the bracket and see who who you're facing. I highly reccomend friending your opponent on steam, so you can discuss the best time to complete your match. This group's chat is also a good place to meet up and talk about varies smash related things.

Please do not change your username on steam for the remainder of this tournament, it makes it a lot easier for your opponent to find you.

If you are unable to get in contact with your opponent please contact me.
If you are unable to play your match (your are busy, or something like that) please contact me and I may extend the deadline depending on your reason.

If your match is not played by the deadline and you haven't contacted me a all, your match will be decided by a coin flip.

• In the event of a disconnection: Resume the match at the same stock, percent, and time.

If the matches are completely unplayable due to lag try again another time, if the problem still persists keep trying at a different time.

Hello! The signup period has now offically ended. I believe we've gotten pretty good amount of people.

However, before we get started with the tournament I would like to have a vote. I was approached by a participant regarding a rule. We have discussed the matter and concluded that we would take a vote on whether stalling should be allowed in the tournament.

Stalling as always been banned in our tournaments, however now is a possible time for a change depending on how many people would like it too.

The vote will last 24 hours because I would like to get the tournament started as soon as possible.
Only participants in this tournament will be allowed to vote in this.


Below in the comments please express that...

A. Yes I would like to lift the ban on stalling.
B. No I would like to keep stalling banned.
Or
C. Don't make a comment at all!
If this vote doesn't mean anything to you then you don't need to vote at all. This shows that you aren't interested, no matter the outcome.

However I would still like to get at least seven votes.


If we don't get enough votes it will be ruled as the majority people are not interested and the ban on stalling will stay.
