We are currently testing a new THF2 discord channel to facilitate communication. Please report any issues to @tinypantha, and server suggestions to #server-suggestions. Tinypantha will be rolling out additional invite links as needed.

It is our hope that this Discord channel will breathe new life into THF2 with the release of Team Fortress 2 Classic v1.0.

There are a few new models in the works following Mikospark's concept art; Suika Demo, and Fujiwara no Mokou Pyro. A Momiji Demo model is also being worked on that is loosely based on Mikospark's Suika demo design.

In the discord's #concept-art channel you can find the Mikospark concept art, and the concept art for the first generation THF2 models.

Within the discord is an on going discussion about what Touhou character should replace the Civilian for TF2C in the #thf2-character-discussion channel

As quite a few of you have noticed, the THF2 website that hosted the original file downloads has had all the download links broken. The original models are available HERE provided by Kiri.

We also have some of the original models without the bug fixes Here[www.dropbox.com].

The website, and forum were created by older members that have long since moved on. We have no way to edit the website, or to recover the invision forum. We did lose the content made by our members that was solely posted to the forums.

Hey, y'all. Kirisame here. I'm sure you're quite surprised to see an announcement from here, huh? So am I..! But anyways, let's get to the point.


So, you remember how, ever since 2010, nobody's been able to make THF2 any better because of how the original modeller had somehow made the models unable to be decompiled? I've gotten over that hurdle, and, with the original decompiled sources in my possession, I've fixed up the old models.

For just about a a year and a half, I've been working on-and-off on polishing up the old models to the best of my ability. Adding missing bones, editing textures to actually follow the TF2 palette, going through probably 1000 consistancy passes, fixing bodygroups, et-cetera. And now, I finally feel like they're just about ready for public release.


THF2 Hotfix and etc release thread

So, here's a release thread or something. There, I've written down what's changed in a lot more detail. Best focus your attention there, since I probably can't cram all of the stuff that's changed into this announcement. I'd be insane if I tried.

---As always, Touhou Fortress needs more volunteers to do stuff! (betcha didn't see that one coming).

I'm not gonna go ramble on about what specifically we want again, because I'm quite sure you know, buuuut.. we have the model sources now, so might as well do somethin' with that, hm..? I'm not much of a modeller, but I'm sure some of you folks are. Just don't distribute the sources and claim them as your own...!



---Ok, now here's something mildly Mikospark concept art related, although it's probably not exactly what you want to hear. Out of boredom, I've colored in all of his pencil sketches and recolored colored ones using the palette and not approximate colors. I think it's a good visual on what colors to use when we eventually get full models out! (Don't ask me about them, I don't know any more than you, admittedly, so I couldn't tell you anything new on that front)

Hello Everyone! Yet another announcement. Im getting used to posting here but lets get down to the real objective.

We're getting a new mod in the works. and it wont be the first or last one either. We'll obviously do more changes and Its of my knowledge that THF has a habit of going with a Mod Policy (Making Content and Release it for Client-Side Modifications instead of standing Server Downloads in order to have your TF2 Un-modded) Disliking it is not a option given its the only way so far to have it working.

So what is this mod going to change...

1- Sounds (Not going to make things obnxious before someone thinks about it)

2- Textures (On New Custom Weapon models)

3- Weapon Models. I just said that didnt I....

Now about the weapon models thing...You're probably wondering if Deity_Link is involved since he makes content for Touhou Hale 2. Yes. He is involved. but you cannot admit his weapon models arent nice. So dont worry. He's not making any maps in this. but part of content he's done is going to be involved in this ''Upcoming Mod'' im talking about. and you will be able to get it very soon. So I suggest you keep an eye on his profile and other sites he normally wanders in with anything he makes. Below these ''things'' that will be involved in that upcoming mod that you can have Early Access to:

1- Nue's Trident for Spy (Replaces Y.E.R.)

2-Aya's Newspaper (Bunbunmaru Newspaper - Atomizer Replacement)

3-Yuuka's ''Parasol''

About the parasol...It replaces the Escape Plan. Or at least that's the IDEA. Its not confirmed yet. so if you get down to downloading it do read the description.

You will be informed about who's involved in the making of this Upcoming mod in the near future.

Hey guys. Nice to see some of you participated in today's ''Server Opening'' Hopefully It helped us notice a few errors and glitches that we've got noted down along with finishing other tasks (Such as posting the server rules on the group profile) The server will be open 24/7 and might be updated quite often to fix these ''Errors'' And add other things maybe. Dont forget a thread was created where you can post your Server Suggestions
