I have 6100 hours in SE and I have only ever designed functional ships, other than my one masterpiece pvp vessel. I own and run a server which utlizes the 13900k CPU with sectors, that pretty much lets us build with no limits. I challenge players to build mega factory ships, I have seen none on the workshop that I can use! Guidelines are as follows.

Must Have:

-No Sub-grids.

-Must be symmetrical.

-128 or 256 Quantum Refineries with yield mods.

-32 or 64 Assemblers with speed mods.

-32 or 64 Large Cargo boxes.

-Enough thrust to move in each direction while FULL within reason.
Gravity drive assist a must! all 6 directions.
Hybrid thrust of ION and Hydrogen.

-Optional: My modpack has Dark Energy Thrusters and tanks. You can also use those!
This is a space only vessel.

Enough power for all, your discretion to how its done, but must be sustainable at max load indefinitely as long as it has fuel.

Connection ports for large miner fleet. Mountable in all directions.

Crew quarters for 8.

Kitchen, Rec Room, Restrooms, Store, Contracts.

Airlock, no hangar necessary, but leave to your discretion.

128 or 256 mix of large grid only turrets. Your discretion.
Must have at-least one of every forward facing gun.

Self repair welding system on weapons and hull using vanilla welders. With projector for ship.

Make as sleek and form fitting as possible.

7 different server clients now handle the whole save. Each planet is its own server and sector of space. Transfer between sectors at will and automatically. Lobby server with a disco room to wait in while servers restart for maintenance etc. Lots of new mods and features. Space engineers server is our largest server to date. We have 10+ active players logging in and out throughout the week. Can now easily host more. Sim speed has been 1.0 solid.
