Good evening, everyone. I come to you all today with some good news. Gold and I will be hosting the old LoGS trade map on our server. I know it's been a long time, and a few of you may not even remember the map or the server, for that matter, but feel free to stop by sometime and relive the nostaliga.

For a few clarifications:
Q: Is the server for LoGS?

A: No, the server itself is for a group I'm taking ownership of withing the next few weeks, The TF2 Exchange.

Q: Are you going to be needing admins or moderators?

A: Not for the most part. I already have a fairly competent team of server staff. You can check the Exchange group for more information if you wish to apply.

Seeing as how this group hasn't had anything happen recently due to the servers closing, I've been wanting to make a Highlander group out of you guys. Why? I want to join a HL team, but I don't want to join some group of random people I don't know. What better way to avoid that than to make a group of some of my online buddies and raping other teams as they come by?

But why now? Doesn't the next season start in the fall? It does, but it's always better to plan ahead. If we did this when the fall season was just starting, we'd have to rush and whatnot. That's not a good alternative. I'm also so excited, I can't wait to see that talent this group possesses. Who knows, if this goes well, who's to say we can't have a 6s team as well?

In case you don't know the standard highlander format, it's just one of each class. So pick you're favorite class, and if it's not already chosen, you may be picked. Except pyro. I'm already pyro. Sorry Cremator. (We also need backups, so maybe a couple multi-classers would suffice)

So, yeah, go ahead and just leave a comment or send me a message or whatever the hell you feel like doing. Also, be sure to read the UGC rules thing at http://www.ugcleague.com/rules_tf2h_season2.cfm

Basically, you have to be in North America (sorry Zeus), and you have to be available Monday 9:30 ET.

The servers are going down today some time. My internet service is getting cut off and whatever I'm replacing it with isn't going to be able to handle the bandwidth load. I wish this wasn't the case, but here we are.

Anyway, thank you all for hanging around over the years, it's been fun.

If anyone is interested in running servers like these let me know and I'll find a way to get the server assets to you (not the physical hardware, but the software). It may not be 100% the same, but it would be close.

I want to begin by expressing my appreciation for your overwhelming support over the years. I cannot even begin to believe how virtually complete strangers have shown nothing but the outmost devotion and support -- it truely is overwhelming.

Circumstances have changed for me in the last week or so, suffice it to say I cannot go into very much detail. Unfortunately this means I can no longer afford to maintain the servers at this time. As of May 10th, the servers will be shut down until further notice. I cannot properly express my disappointment nor can I fully outline my regret in this decision. I wish there were another way, but as of right now I have no other choice. I assure you I have exhausted all avenues, please forgive me.

Understand that I am not declaring an indefinite closure to these servers, but I do not have any idea when they will return either.
