This has been a long time coming and I am sorry to all those who love the DDW like I did and played on the server and kept it alive for all the time that it has been so.

As many of you are aware, myself and Dougal absolutely LOVE running the community and the servers. Unfortunately, we just have fallen out of love with Garry's Mod. Since the dawn of time / dawn of Garry's Mod / dawn of when Web got Garry's Mod because he had nothing else to do and ran into this litle prick who didn't like him because of his voice, we played Garry's Mod religiously for many months. We set up this community and I hit 2000 hours whilst Dougal hit 1000. I guess when you play the game for that long, and do nothing else but work on and with the game, you fall out of love with it and whilst it is extremely unfortunate there is nothing we can do to reverse it.

I, myself, am finding enjoyment in other games. I am playing CS:GO a hell of a lot more and just love playing more competitively in comparison to playing for fun (competitive is fun for me). Dougal has been sorting his life out and I am hoping to do the same soon. When we both have our lives sorted, we will also be lacking time and that means the community is not something that we can run.

We have looked into throwing the community over to other people, and have spoke to people about it. The people we asked opinions on the idea said that they would not want anyone running 'DDW' specifically as DDW is myself and Dougal. I do not view it like that, I view it as EVERYONE, but we can not help other people's perceptions.

I apologise to all those whom love this community, we will all be around and will play together still. We will STILL be a community, but will not host our own servers. I hope you all understand.

I love it when this ♥♥♥♥ happens. When our community pulls together, and without any input from me whatsoever, they fill up to maximum capacity. It is amazing to watch this community grow together and to watch the strong relationships form within it.

The love that I have for this family is not something that I will ever be able to express and so I can only thank you all for being a part of it. Thank you to the old DDWians who still support us and thank you to the new members of our family that want to help us grow.

There are a lot of people who lose track of what matters when their communities grow. It then just becomes a numbers games and the real people and admiration is lost. That is something that I have never lost for you guys always continue to astound me.

So thank you!

Today is Dougal's birthday and I want to say a massive Happy Birthday to him! I have known you now for a year and 4 months and we have shared so many memories, laughs and just plain stupidness that I wouldn't trade for the world. You have grown to be my best mate and I owe you a lot. Scrap that, we all owe you a lot.

I hope you have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing day, full of weed, booze and chillaxin' on that Rancho Relaxo' of yours. Pop a beer and live off of the interest eh?

I hope you all can take a few seconds to just wish him happy birthday and spam the ♥♥♥♥ outa him with messages that consist of something other than 'Dougal you are better than Web' (yes those have existed before!).

A cold winter morning, a morning like any other the war hero Raf "The Tap" SpruceStick stepped out of his large tent in the army camp.
He stretches and looks out into the camp and sees Groot The Puny, he waves at him. Groot gives Raf a salute and doesn't stop until Raf leaves.
Raf walks towards the main food tent for all the army commanders, inside he sees Nutbread The Hungry sitting neck deep in the donut supply looking way too satisfied... He gives Nutbread a confused wave, grabs a Sandwich made by the master chef known to most as "Prof".

Raf makes his way towards one of the long tables in the middle of camp and sits down eating his sandwich, wondering what prof put in them this time.
Whilst eating his sandwich Apo The Mapo who has been put in charge of mapping out all the different areas the camp visit, walks up to him and asks him what the plan is.

Raf responds:
"We ride at sunset."

Apo gets a surprised look on his face and runs off.

Raf gets up from the table after finishing his sandwich and starts going towards the "War Tent" where him and his commanders think of different strategies and ways to defeat the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rebellion.

Raf is suprised to see that everyone thats supposed to be there is actually there for once, without wasting any time he starts speaking to Nutbread and the rest of his commanders about the path to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ homeland.
Hours later they all come out of the tent one by one until the tent is empty. The planning is done, most of the travelling is done, they are only a few kilometers away from the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ homelands.

Raf looks into the sky. The sun is setting, the sky is orange and clear of clouds.

He pulls out his horn out of his pouch made by the camp tailor, Kitten. And blows into it. It makes a very loud and deep BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR like sound, a few seconds later Raf sees everyone rush out of their tents and start running towards the armory.

A few minutes later they start piling out of the armory tent after a long queue has started to form outside of it, all in full combat gear they are moving at a fast pace toward the camp meeting site, with a tall platform standing in the middle.

On top of it Raf is standing inspecting his forces form in a circle around him.
Some with swords, some with bows, some with maces and even the odd pitchfork in there.

Raf Speaks;
Today! My brothers and sisters in arms! We march for the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ homelands! To defeat them once and for all! Fight bravely! Fight with heart! The time of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is no more! The time of peace! The time of prosperity!
FOR THE DEEP DARK WEB!!!

A sound like no other Raf had heard erupted from the massive crowd.
Raf orders for all the people capable of fighting to mount up.
Raf sees all the people cheering and smiling, thinking all this is soon over, and thinks to himself;
"They think its nearly over, but the real
fight hasn't even started..."

A voice deep enough to quiet a volcanic eruption rumbles from the crowd says:

My Deep Dark Web.
We cannot do this.
We cannot defeat them.
I am shutting you down.
But one day my brothers and sisters.. We WILL rebuild.

The WebKiddy sits back down in his seat.

The silence was sickening, you could probably hear if someone was scratching their ass. That's how bloody quiet it was.

Some people start returning to their tents, others just sit and stare at Web.
Some cry.

Some ran back to their homes.

Some of the most loyal members of the Deep Dark started pulling one of the long tables to Web along with some chairs.
Raf, Nutbread, Surymo, Leon, Dzire and a few more sat down with Web.
Nobody said anything.
Web was silent, staring into nothing.
Everyone else was staring at Web.
After hours of the same behavior, Dzire got up and left.
Others followed.

The few remaining were Web, Raf and Nutbread.
Nutbread realizes he's extremely hungry and leaves.
Raf realizes he hasn't headshotted anyone for a while and leaves to practice with his bow and arrow.

Some say Web is still sitting there at that table.
Some say he left after Nutbread and Raf.

That is for you to decide.
Hope? Or despair?
