Tactical Wasteland Back2Chernarus

Tactical Wasteland is a new wasteland developed from the ground up with inspiration from existing wasteland game modes.

It's aim is to return to the core wasteland environment.
A large war took place in Central Europe between NATO and Russia/allies. The conflict ended in an apocalyptic scenario, creating a "wasteland".Now, soldiers from the two sides are fighting for resources to reclaim dominance in the area. You also have independent local civilians who are taking up arms to fight as well

We are aiming to create a balanced game with a large variety of content, that will be updated by developers frequently.

Significantly improved Chernarus (hundreds of hours into upgrading towns, vegetation, and even creating new towns/industrial zones that look natural)

We haven't shown anything regarding the features or gameplay of the mission itself for a couple reasons. We will likely show off features in official trailers. I wanted to give everyone an update on the map itself though.

We felt that Cherno was the most well suited map for wasteland style gameplay, but agreed with many people who complained of its age. (Regarding enterable buildings, vegetations, quality, etc...)

So a lot of development time has actually been put into attempting to make Chernarus feel like a fresh and modern map.

This does not mean that we did what other mods do (a script that replaces every single building with arma 3 buildings) as we feel like this changes the map entirely... and feels very weird having mediterranean buildings in Eastern Europe).

What we are doing is carefully adding vegetation, buildings, wrecks, and even small towns, and industrial areas to the map. Our goal is to keep the feel of Chernarus but at the same time provide a new experience.
