We were hoping that the PNDC would rule Ghana for a short time, at least until Ghana was once more stable. But it appears that we shall have to wait for another TWO years before the PNDC steps down. We are sorry for this delay.

It seems the a new military Nigerian govenment has taken over. Loads of Ghanaian citizens living in Nigeria have been expelled from the country, including the town of Agege, near Lagos, were several Ghanaians went to get a better life. We are cutting off links with the Nigerian government for this treacherous act!

The military of Ghana have officially overthrown President Hilla Limann, and their leader, Flight-Lieutenant JJ Rawlings, has taken over. He and his govenment will form the Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC) which will rule temporarily, but may rule slightly longer......
