Anyone considering buying Starcraft 2 should be aware of the following:

Anyone buying an AUS version of the game will be region locked to south east asia! This insane decision by fail blizz will mean you will be playing mostly with non english speakers and unable to play with any US friends and anyone who preordered from US to get a beta key (hickling, petra, nick myself).

So I highly recommend purchasing a US copy online if you still plan to play the game.

In conclusion fail blizz noobs grrr......

Thanks to Jerry for organising; posting it here as an announcement to increase visibility:


I have us penciled in for a morning session (starts 9am), there is a 25$ deposit that needs to be handed to me before I make the final booking on my CC.

the venue http://paintballgames.com.au/info_coldstream.htm located at Melway 277 E 8 3-5 Maxwells Road, Coldstream

I need to know numbers ASAP, so i can properly book the time.

There is a 99$ special that includes 600paint balls and overalls etc (i think boxes are extra... but worth it if you havent got 1)

Invite your friends if you would like but please get back to me (Jeremy) as soon as you can. I need to pay the deposit before the 17th

The Video Game Awards (VGAs) were on last night. You can check out the winners here, congrats on Uncharted 2 beating Modern Warfare 2 for GoTY!

For those that bought Dragon Age Origins, don't forget if you register and login to the Bioware network you can download the stone prisoner and blood red dragon armor dlc free (using the standard CD key you got via steam). This applies to the standard edition also, which makes the Deluxe version pretty lame ;)
