Alien Swarm is a tactical, co-op squad-based, top-down shoot-em-up set at a 60 degree angle. Set in the distant future, the players take the role of a Commander in the Interstellar Armed Forces. They must guide the squad of marines through Swarm infested colonies, overrun bases and outposts, to achieve a variety of objectives. The marines involved are stated as: the Officer, Special Weapons, Medic, and Tech. Each class has two selectable characters with a difference in abilities.


Featuring Assault Rifles, Heat Tracking Guns, Sentry Guns, Flamethrowers and more you can select from a 40 - strong arsenal of weapons. Alien Swarm can be played single or multiplayer online, with a strong emphasis on teamwork between the marines in both forms of play.
