Hi everybody,
after a few months of waiting for a better game, bugfixes and important features its time for a restart.
From now on, the server is back online and open for players.
Its not 100% finished yet and we need some feedback from you about whats good and whats bad, so make sure to leave a reply in this group.

I cant promise that it will run smooth this time, as I didn't have the time to test every little thing that the developers change in the past months.

What has changed:
- Navigation beacons are gone, instead the game shows your current location on your HUD
- Procedural generated world in a cube with 1000km edge length (with millions of asteroids)
- Permanent death is enabled again

Hi,
the new SE update is released and both servers are updated.
And its time for a change!

As some of you may have noticed, the servers were very unstable in the last 7 days. This happend due to major bugs in the 1.052 update and the SE server extender executable. There was nothing I could do about it - and this was the reason why I just waited for the next upate.

But now - with 1.053 - this will change.
I did a FULL RESET of both servers to overcome the performance issues and to be sure that we dont take the old bugs with us.
This means :
No lag, no slowmotion, fresh + exciting new gameplay.

For all of you out there who ever wanted to take a look what other people have built, or just to backup your own stuff, here are the map files from the last 1,5 months:

Sorry,
since the last update both servers are a bit unstable.
Additionally, the creator of the "SEserverExtender"-tool didn't update it yet - I had to start the server without it.
It's possible that the current state will persist for the next one or two days.
Sorry for any inconvenience!!!
There's almost nothing more I can do right now.

Hi folks,
sorry for the server crash this evening.
Both servers crashed exactly 10 seconds after the free weekend ended.
This seems to be an unknown bug in the server executable and I had to take the servers down for some hours until most of the free users left their game (otherwise it would have crashed over and over again).

Additional, the servers were under very high load over the whole weekend due to the free weekend of SE - this caused heavy lag almost 24/7.
I'm very glad that this is over now and the servers should stabilize again.

Space Central Europe - Close Quarter Combat

Same settings as the main server with the following changes:
- Rescaled map -> Same map as on the main server, but with all asteroids in much closer distance to each other.
- 40x40x40km [so 20km from center to all beacons]
- Center beacon
- Faster refineries and assemblers
- 20 slots (main has 32)

In addition to this, I modified the main server to use 2 new mods (made only for our servers):
- New spawnships with lesser problems than before
- More NPC ships with greater risk and reward. (More will be added every few days)
