In short, there have been some internal conflict between the owners of Lokalen. There are two kinds of owners in Lokalen:

1) The owners who have done all the work getting us new hardware, fixing the servers when we had problems, getting the forums up and running, moderating them, recruiting admins, giving the admins power to run and moderate the servers, expanding Lokalen to several other games, setting up sponsorship deals, and everything else you can think of.

2) The ones who did no work, abused their admin powers until the TF2 admins took them away, and kept demanding an Orange 24/7 server.

Now, the good owners wanted to expand Lokalen further without constantly being cock-blocked by the lazy owners, so they were forced to start a new company: Rocket Blast. Everything is basically the same: same owners doing the work, same idea, same admins in all games, same address to the servers etc. To the players, the only difference is the name.

The reason they had to do this was because the lazy owners wanted to use the fact that they were owners (on paper) to milk money from the working owners. I don't know about you, but I don't like the fact that some useless owners claim that THEY should get money for servers that have been run by others for several years, with thousands of work hours behind them, and the great reputation that has been built up by all of us.

Alright, the point is that y'all should keep playing on the same server and not let anyone tell you that "dude, Lokalen has changed address, here's the new one...". The address to the Rocket Blast servers is the same as the "old" Lokalen servers, so it should remain in your favourites. The admins will be the same. The Vanilla settings will be the same.

Make sure you join the Rocket Blast steam group, and preferably leave the Lokalen group.

Install Mumble:

Add this server:
Servername: Call it whatever you want
Address: slin.se
Port: 64738
Username: Insert your name here

Join it and double-click on the channel you wish to talk in. So if you're playing on the 2fort server, double-click on "Lokalen #02", which is under "tf2".

You have to start Mumble before you start TF2. Otherwise, the overlay which shows the names of everyone one the channel won't show.

Please join the channel every time you play on Lokalen (if you want to communicate of course), you never know who will pop up and join you mid-game.

Often when there are a lot of SoW's playing on a server, most of them are on the same team. Since SoW's are better than the average player, this leads to very unbalanced teams. Some people have accused SoW's of team stacking. Whether this is the case or not, I and Wisefool would like to remind you all that it's much more fun for everyone if the teams are somewhat evenly balanced. A suggestion is to pick "random" when choosing teams. You'll get used to it pretty fast ;)
