- Best all round LMG, though 50 mag clip, has fast reload, good recoil+spread, good for closerange - medium. (gauss saw better for medium to long)

Heavy Assault Launcher = Pheonix launcher = 1000 Certs
- High damage - TV guided.

Engineer + Light Assault = Gauss Compact S = 500 Certs
- Has optional HE & Smoke grenade launchers - great for farming kills

Infiltrator = Longshot sniper rifle = 1000 Certs
- best, most natural headshotting rifle, low bullet drop
- SCOPE: standard OR 10x

Medic = NS-11A = 1000 Certs
- Best all round medic weapon, high accuracy and ROF, slightly lower damage, and slightly larger clip (35)

OUTFIT SMG OF CHOICE = Blitz SMG = 1000 Certs
- 50 rounds in a clip, Close range, High ROF, can compete with shotguns, very forgiving if you miss.

(cyclone has 25 in clip and requires extended mag to be useful - at a loss of grip/laser sight - slower ROF but higher dmg)

SMGS = 1x or 2x Red dot.
Assault rifles = 1x or 2x Red dot (close range) & OR 3.4x Red dot (medium)
Carbines = 1x or 2x Red dot (close range) & OR 3.4x red dot (medium)
LMGS = 1x or 2x Red dot (close range) & OR 3.4x red dot (medium)
Longshot = Standard & OR 10x scope. (why 10x and not 12x? - the extra magnification is not needed)

ALL CAN USE HS/NV scope (appears to reduce recoil + highlights targets)



Vehicle Weapons:

Lightning tank = L100 Python HE = 750 certs
- Good for infantry farming.

Vanguard tank = E540 Halberd = 250 certs
- Good anti vehicle + anti infantry - has splash damge, where as enforcer is pure AT.
- VANGUARD STANDARD MAINGUN = BEST ALL ROUND.

Reaver = Breaker rocketpods = 1000 certs
- Good anti infantry & anti vehicle

(Optional) Reaver maingun = Mustang AH = 100 certs
- Good anti infantry, anti air, anti vehicle - MUST UPGRADE CLIPSIZE (no more than 6)

Liberator Maingun = Dalton = 1000 certs
- Good Anti vehicle - fair anti infantry - strong damage.

Liberator Reargun = Walker = 1000 certs
- Great anti air, however requires a compitent gunner to be used efficiently.

Sunderer Rear gun = Walker = 1000 certs
- Good anti air

Sunderer front gun = optional.

Firstly, do not pick certs based on the needs of the outfit or squad. Choose certs based on your playstyle, that will increase your certs per hour, however those can include things to support the squads you play in.

Secondly, your certs per hour will increase as you gain awareness of the flow of the battle. Knowing when to pull a max, when to use heavy, when to go engi or medic, when to snipe; more over - when to pull vehicles to maximise kills and assists.

Sitting somewhere safe and not dieing does not increase your certs per hour. Equally running into the battle without backup will not increase your certs per hour.

IMPORTANT: Knowing where to be, how to act, what class to choose, how to control your recoil, how to anticipate your enemies, and how to support your team, will get you MORE CERTS than actually spending any.


That said, there are SOME certs that are important for new players:

TIP: As a new player you SHOULD NOT focus on maximising one cert, fact is you will benefit far more from spreading certs around.

IF YOU HAVE A SUBSCRIPTION, and are new, max cert level can be that of 100 certs into one upgrade.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A SUBSCRIPTION, and are new, max cert level should be 50 certs into one upgrade.
