It all began in Sweden (obviously) with Released asking Tant Greta, Haijmat, Titaniumjaw and dr.honken if they wanted to make a clan in MW2 to be more competitive. They all agreed and then was the question, what would the name be? They wanted a shitty/silly name that would drive people insane when they got owned by a bunch of drunken swedish bastards. At first they thought of Teletubbies, but that was scrapped since it was too long for Mw2. Then someone, whilst drunk most likely, came up with the name Sew Meeting. This name is still used to date (REALLY?) even on BO.

So there was the clan named Sew Meeting. No one except Released had a lot of CoD experience, so it was a big surprise the clan did pretty good. Released used a lot of variety in weapons, Hajimat used the sniper pretty often and the others used beer and normal weapons. They didn't lose a lot of clanwars so decided not to change the best name for a clan ever (Fanboying here). Eventually Tant and Titaniumjaw started to use the sniper aswell, but not quickscoping yet (Noobs).

At this time BO came around. Released had to study a lot, Dr. Honken went Battlefield and the rest went playing BO. At this time Tant and the gang kept playing all weapons, untill they came across the sniper only servers (Mostly Frozen, Acid and FSB at that time... Good ol days). Nisse joined along somewhere during this era aswell, and it also happens that Thillen (Co-owner of SwMt) worked at Tant his workplace, and was talked into CoD, so he became famous for a while (The #Thillen command once said "Fuck me I'm famous!" for a while) untill the bastard started playing Dota 2.

Once the clan was dedicated to sniping, Released taught Tant and some of the members how to snipe and how to use ESL movements, and the crew was chilling on BO ever since. Sew Meeting got new members, and lost some, or some just went to BF3 and are still in SwMt. Save for one, who we kicked shortly after, SwMt never had any cheating players and we'd like to keep it this way.

In short, SwMt is a professional, but mostly fun-loving sniper clan that looks forward to have clanwars with competing clans on Black Ops. We have existed for over 10 years now, and some of us are just a small part of it yet. We aim to exist for a long time, be it on Black Ops or on another game, we will stay Sew Meeting!
