Sanctuary Base was supposed to be a project of peace and hope. It died.

Sanctuary Industries rose in it's place to profit from the very wars that the original station hoped to end.

Chapter 01: On it's 2nd mission into deep space, the Sanctuary Base and all hands have gone missing. Members were in cryo-sleep, so it's possible that they have survived, but after 6 weeks without contact or distress beacon, it's fairly safe to assume that all hands have been lost.
