Hey all, it's been a while since there has been any change to the group, and as far as I have been noticing, there is a lot of group inactivity (ie. lack of group events, group game playing, ect.). With that being said, there will be more updates and some changes to the group.

The first change will be for the Moderators, which have been changed around. Before this update, the Moderators were Rysen, Dayna, and Trevor. The list has now been changed to Trevor and Austin.
Hopefully when Austin gets back from Korea, him and I can set up a few things for the group, like a TS server or some CSGO competitions (although I suck :P ).

I have also added two new Forum sections; Suggest and Share Games and Contests and Competitions.
These sections should be self explanatory, but I'll briefly go over their purpose for those of you who may not fully understand why they're there.
Suggest and Share Games will be a section for everyone to suggest and share games (obviously). In this section, you can give people ideas of which games to get next, personal reviews of games you have in your Steam Library, and share info on upcoming titles, as well as sharing extra Steam Keys with others (if you are feeling generous).
Contests and Competitions is where you can post any competitions of contests you wish to host. Although there is an event section where you can host your own events like competitions, the Contest and Competitions section is where you can hold your own contests (ie. giving away CSGO skins, or a Beta Key for a new game). It's all up to you how you wish to use this section, as long as it stays on-track with the groups main purpose of course.

For those of you who pay attention to the (few) activities going on with this group, you will have noticed that I have promoted 3 members to Moderators. These people are Rysen, Dayna, and Trevor. As moderators, they will be able to create group events, such as organizing a group session of CS:GO, or any other games of their choice.

With this being said, feel free to post in the group and suggest games to play. If we can get more events up and running, we will need different games to play, so feel free to ask about your favorite game! :)

If you know someone who goes to our school and has steam, add them to our group! The more members we have, the more people we have to play with. With more members, we can setup large groups of people to play games such as CS:GO, Minecraft, H1Z1, and more!

To all play together, we will need to know how to contact each other. The easiest way to do this would be via Skype. Therefor, members will be required to post Skype contact information, as well as their IRL first name, so we know who to contact and how (If you do not have Skype, skip over the next paragraph).

To do so, make sure you click the "Start a new discussion" on the right, and when posting contact info, please click the "Contact Information" bubble below the text prompt. It's okay if you forget this step, just notify me and I can move your information into the proper section for you! Make sure that if you add me (or any other member for that matter) that you state your first name in a Skype message ( example: "Hey Will, it's Bob!" ). This way, both you and the person you added knows who is on their contact list.

IF you do NOT have Skype, it would be highly recommended that you go and get it. It's free! Even if you do not have a microphone to call with, it is a great way to message another member of this group. Skype is not mandatory, and you will not be kicked out of the group if you do not have it, however it will make communication a lot easier than using Steam's messaging system.

If anyone has a TeamSpeak server they own, and would like to allow the group to use it, please do let me know! Do not just go out and buy a TeamSpeak server just because I suggested it as a good idea! TeamSpeak would be a great alternative to Skype for those of you who have microphones but do not wish to use Skype.
