A Haven for All Gamers' of all Walks of Life!

Hey guys, long time no see! I have some news, and I know it's been awhile since the last time I posted up stuff on here. During the last 6 months, several old members, old execs (pre-Fall 2015), and of course myself have been revising the structures and functions of Gamers' Club.

The madness and drama from Fall 2015 has left Gamers' Club with almost nothing, but instead of being sad and mopey, it is time to look forward to a new future, and of course, a BRAND NEW Gamers' Club! One that is truly the perfect balance of Gaming and still being able to do club business!

So what we have done is given the Old Multi-Division System a complete rewrite and reforge. Instead of a Centralized Division Zero running everything, we took a look at the original Multi-Div System from when I was first President in Fall 2013, where all we had was Console/PC Division 1 and Cards/TableTop Division 2. From there we eliminated most of Division Zero and created two fully-fledged Gamers' Club out the old Div1 and Div 2. Div 1 is now the Digital Gamers' Club and Div 2 is now the Tabletop Gamers' Club , each with it's own Executive Boards. This structure is called "The GEMINI SYSTEM: FLUX STYLE".

So the Multi-Division System we had back in Spring 2015 returns, but a wee bit different: Smash and the League of Legends Guild will return, but now under the Digital Gamers' Club, with the Chess Club we absorbed returning in the Tabletop Gamers' Club. This configuration is completely brand new, and instead of splitting Gamers' into two seperate club, they are still one, just that they each have an Assistant Treasurer instead. The Central Treasurer will be explained when Meeting ZERO comes.


So What Happened To The Game Development Thingy?
During the tragedy of Fall 2015, I was able to save one part of Gamers' Club: The Academics Research and Development Division 3 (or ARDEE for short). The execs at the time were planning to kill it, so when Gamers' Club collapsed, I tried my best to find it a new home as a Specialty Division of either the MESA Student Society (MSS) or the Engineering and Technology (E&T) clubs. Instead of allowing to be part of them directly, they suggested that ARDEE become it's own club.

Three months later, after intense work, CyberDyne of Solano College was born. CyberDyne is the first Robotics Club on Campus, as well the 8th STEM Club and 6th CTE Club, using the fields of Computer Science in Programming and Electronics Technology from Mechatronics. However, if demand is high enough, CyberDyne could do "Legacy Days", i.e Game Development in Python, just were going to do in Gamers' ARDEE.
