Firstly : It is impossible to prevent a player to change his Lerps except if he exceeds the limit allowed which is 100 lerp.
Secondly : Only noob scavenger use 100 lerp like you do

You can change your lerp in any Valve game on any server i.e. every games with Source Engine
It's completly allowed, recommended and sometimes forced like in Confogl.

guys, guys, guys, lerp changing has nothing to do with hacks, some lerps are just better for ur pc than others, if u got low lerp or high lerp it dosent change annything. It´s all just about ur pc and ur mouses.

Did anyone read the rules before signing up...?

The tournament will be hosted on our very own servers which are both located in Europe. One is located in Germany which usually ensures good ping for players all around Europe and the other server is located in France.

The reason why we are only using our servers is because they are 12 slots servers which allow us to have 4 spectators (Staff members) to monitor matches and make sure everything goes as smooth as possible. They have already been configured with the proper settings and add-on needed for this tournament.

You will be able to see player's lerps using the !lerps command in-game and you will also be able to see when players change their lerps mid-game. Anyone with over 100 lerp will automatically be kicked by the server to prevent any abuse.

As for the cheating accusations we have been getting regarding certain players, demo recording is required during the tournament. Feel free to dispute players if need be.

btw. it would be nice if we can get servers where each team has the same equipment! Sometimes on roof-servers the amount of pipes or adrenaline vary from round to round, so for example 1. Team got 5 pipes and 4 shots in the round and the other team only gets 3 pipes and 2 shots!
Anyway there should be no customed server!

I agree to noone! I don't care about the lerp! I mean i played with 55 lerp and i played with 100 lerp. I did not even see a diffrence. But anyway I think we should agree on a server where everyone is ok with his ping! I have 2 russians, one finish and one spanish guy in my team and they have often problems with their pings on german servers! So we should agree on some servers that allow everyone to play with an acceptable ping! At least those who are from europe!

PS: I'm arguing against my own teammates here -.-
PPS: I changed my lerp settings just 2-3 weeks ago, and never cared about it myself before. why do people complain about others changing these values, when they can just change them themselves? They will notice that it's not much of a difference, like the difference between a ping of 5 and 80...

uuum guys wtf. Some ppl play with 15 fps, others play with 150. some have a standard microsoft mouse, other have crazy gaming mouses with much better accuracy and speed etc. some players play with a ping of 5, others with 100.
Imo everyone can change his pc/internet/game as much as he can, to improve his/her gameplay unless you play in a LAN with given PCs... the actual circumstances for players will not be fair anyway. If someone knows how this game works, he will change standard lerp values. If a noob does not know about lerp, that's not the pro's fault.
and btw about "lerp-cheaters". valve itself implemented this feature to be able to change these values. eveything that works without sv_cheats 1 cannot be considered a cheat...

I would not recommend accepting team Invidious Animosity ‼ɪ∀‼. They are signed up with 2 caught cheaters, kepler and nate. There's proof of kepler cheating, having this team would only ruin the tournament.
