So skateboarding is falling appart

i live in the netherlands and it almost looks like skateboarding is illigal because if ur not somewhere in a skatepark ur skating on the streets and most of the times ur just going to get the cops called on you for ''Destroying City Proparty''
so help me get skatboarding back to its original position as it was in 1981
