Welcome to the Ancient Themed RolePlaying Group Roma Capta. It aims to provide the members a fun campaign, using the original Rome: Total War to clash out the battles. Players will be able to play Emperors, Kings, Politicans, or just Warband Leaders or simply a Warrior.
Therefore every member is required to fill out a quick App on their Character, before beeing allowed to RolePlay.

CCCXCV ANNO DOMINI
The Roman Empire has been the symbol of civilization, authority and strenght for centuries, but now even the the mightiest of states starts to crumble.
The Old Pantheon has been left aside for this new christian god, causing turmoil in the roman`s owns borders, and the many Generals, strive way more for their own good, then for the Roman Cause.
As the Empire has been divided into West and East the Emperors see themselves forced to tighten their power, in order to keep controll over their Throne.

The greatest threat however rides from the East.
The Scourge of God, the Huns, the Riders of Death appeared few decades ago, driving off many tribes.
Alans, Sarmatae and Germans alike move south and west, fighting for their very survival, and so crossing the borders of the Empire. For now some of these tribes allied with Rome, to stand together against the common enemy, however Rome gave way too many promises to the Germans, who are eagerly searching for a new home....

Only God knows the future of this world, at the brink of Darkness...
