Some good tweaks to take note off if you plan on running the game on less capable hardware.
1. You'll need a melee weapon, but the axe or other wide arc types are preferred. Most of us have seen the whack-a-mole game just outside the arena gates.
2. One tip is to swing the moment you hear Moustachio's voice from the machine. They also advise aiming for the middle of the back row.
3. 40 or 50 points should get you the achievement.
And of course no surprise, the horde comes when you win :)
1. If possible, hoard an adrenaline shot from the beginning of the campaign for as long as possible.
2. You'll need a baseball bat; I don't know about the other melee weapons, but a baseball bat is guaranteed.
3. On the stage with the bumper cars, you'll see the Mustachio strength test just before the cars. Pop the shot, pound the red striker and voila - "GONG SHOW"
Just be careful 'cus the bell sound calls more zombies!
1. You need at least 3 people in the shooting gallery to get enough points to win the stupid gnome in the first place, and everyone should be packing an automatic weapon. If you mess up, just go get some ammo around the corner. One person should be guarding everyone else.
2. You can do a push-back with the gnome similar to the gas can, but it doesn’t really hurt the zombies.
3. The gnome is not fragile at all. It survives everything: spitter goo, charger smashes, tank chucking, the whole shebang.
4. If everything is going to hell during the finale, you’re better off to get out of the chopper, die and restart the finale rather than to lose track of the gnome and then fly off with nothing at all.
Good luck!

Then go into the game, Options menu and enable the addon (check mark).
Enjoy...I tested it on the server.

Death Aboard 2 is the convertion to L4D2 of the popular Death Aboard campaign for L4D. In Death Aboard you start out in a prison and work your way out to the nearest docks area. From here, you board a stranded ship and finally to an island where there will be a lighthouse as a finale.
Please ensure you have the Left 4 Dead 2 Add-on Support installed.
Anyway, I'll be adding a new campaign, once I know it works off of the server I'll let you guys know which one I installed so you can do the same. For those of you who purchased Left 4 Dead (1) or already own it, like myself, I will have dedicated server up and running for that game by the weekend as well. Once it's all done, please provide any feedback you have on the performance of the server...if it needs an upgrade I'll get it done.
I'll shelve the idea of settingup a separate voice/chat server for now. Managing it will be harder when we play versus-mode games as we would need to multi-task out of the game, swap the players around in the voice program and then switch back to the game. Cumbersome and needless since L4D has a very good built-in voice/chat functionality.
Bert, thanX again for the avatars, you guys are looking good. James, we need to find you a good one that suits you. Anything in particular you want me and Bert to edit?
Have a Happy Halloween weekend everyone! See you guys online.
For the Smoker, you can shoot the tongue if you can't get a clear shot at the Smoker itself.
Be mindful of the weapons you choose at the beginning of each level. If some of the other players have short range weapons (like the shotgun) get a ranged weapon like a rifle if you can, just to balance it out.
Like the pipe bomb, the Infected people love the bile. Toss it far away to get the horde off of you.
Most of this will be second nature after a few rounds.

Also, hopefully those who have tried the server I setup have some feedback, please post. I wll be doing maintenance on the server in the next couple of days before the weekend. What I plan to do is not for the L4D2 server itself but for the machine hosting it. More on that later, hope you guys are having fun on the server. Bert, please try it out when you can.
Anyway, when you start the game and get to the main menu within the game, you'll notice along the bottom edge of your screen there will be a list of private Steam Group servers - you will see the Rogue Squad 7 server. Don't click on that as you will then be forced to accept the default map which I have to specify when I create a dedicated server.
Instead, just select Play Campaign from the main screen and as usual then select Play with Friends. Next Create a New Campaign Lobby. In this Friends-Only Game, select all the goodies like Campaign, Difficulty, Permissions. For Server Type, select Steam Group Server. Now select Create Lobby. Once you have all selected you characters, Start the game. You'll then be brought to the Steam Group Servers screen. Ignore what it says about the map and settings, it will show what was last played priot. Just select Join Game and away you go!
