CSGO November Tournament:

Swiss format.
6 teams (minimum):

Win awards +2 points.
Loss awards -1 points.

Points will determine the winner.

In-case of points tie, we will tally Buchholz score.
In-case of Buchholz score tie- we will check the round difference. Any further ties will be sorted with a best of 1 match.

Entry fees - 500/- team or 100/- player


Prize distribution
(may increase if no. of teams exceeds 6)

The winning team gets 2000/-

The runner up team gets a prize of 800/-

Rules:
Show up 15 mins before your scheduled match time, this is provided for ease during team setup.
Captains and team members must have discord.

Delay of more than 15 mins, in showing up with all 5 members will be counted as an automatic loss.

Public profiles are required for each player.

In case of technical issues, there will be a pause, however the relevance of such an issue will be decided by the referee.

It is strongly recommended that you check out the server beforehand to get an idea of your PING, VAR and lag issues.
The server is 128 tick Mumbai.

NOTE - If admin/referee detects suspicious activity during the games, he can ask the player to live stream his game/screen to monitor his further gameplay. Failure to comply may result in disqualification


There will be an active duty map pool, and maps will be decided by the veto process, i.e.

bo3 V-V-M1-M2-V-V-D

M : Map pick
D : Decider

Knife round will determine the starting sides.

4 tactical timeout will be provided, lasting 30 sec each.

Overtime is enabled, to determine a clear winner of each match.

There will be a half time pause of 1 min and 3 min pause in between maps. Additional 1 min pause at the start of overtime if needed.

All matches will be recorded including the voice comms, therefore using discord or other 3-rd party voice comms would require you to provide a full recording of it during the match.
Regular voice comms will be auto recorded by the server.

If upon investigation it is found that a player/team was using unfair means, organisers will decide upon the issues. The organisers have final say in any disputed matter.
Use of unfair means, exploits, toxicity or any other disruptive behavior of any team member will result in an immediate disqualification of the team. Future bans may also be imposed on the convicted team & members.

There will be no refunds, after disqualification.

Captains must lock their roster 4 days before the tournament.

We have provided a structural idea of the tournament for 6 teams. It is susceptible to change if the number of teams exceeds 6.

The tournament will have 3 rounds.

The initial round will be a best of 1, followed by best of 3 matches for rounds 2 & 3.

M-1 (1-0)
M-2 (0-1)
M-3 (1-0 & 0-1)




Round 3 (best of 3):

Case 1 ( R2 M3, 1-0 wins)

M-1 (2-0) [ Grand Final ]



Case 2 ( R2 M3, 0-0 wins)

M-1 (2-0 & 1-1) [If 2-0 wins, tournament over]



[If 2-0 loses ]

M-2 (1-1)


Explanation:
1. Any team with a score of 0-2 OR 1-2 is eliminated as it's theoretically not possible for them to win.

2. In Round 3 Case 1, there will only be 1 match between (2-0) teams as the winner will be automatically on the top.

3. In Round 3 Case 2, the bottom team tied at (1-1) shall be eliminated.

NOTE- SEEDING AND BYES, WILL BE DETERMINED AFTER ROSTER LOCK

Only captains are required to register, on behalf of their team.

For players who want to join without a team...I can book a slot for you, if I get other solo players, I will match you guys up into a team.

Date & Time for the matches will be decided after consulting all the captains.
