We've hit 500 members!

I'm excited to announce we've hit 500 members! I want to give you all a warm welcome to the group, I'm so happy to see how many pixel art enthusiasts here are. It warms my heart knowing we all are one pixel of the bigger picture, and united - together - we make the world a brighter place.

Seeing Waneella[waneella.tumblr.com]'s amazing pixel art on display during the Steam summer sale made me so happy, and as I had a few minutes of spare time, I decided to update our group description a little bit with more guides! Unfortunately, I also had to remove some guides which were outdated or removed from the internet; but these new guides should cover all the removed guides.

I also want to address that I've been made aware that the guides, "Best pixel art backgrounds" and "Best pixel art badges", are quite outdated and I apologize for that. I have not abandoned these guides, but due to my life situation I am not able to update these guides at the very moment. Rest assured, I promise I will update them some day when my life gets easier.

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone for a great year that was 2017, and wish you all a wonderful, creative year that will be 2018!

The year has finally started to settle in and for most people this means going back to work. I've collected a few resources available for pixel artists that I've also included on the front page of the group; these resources are there for you to draw inspiration from and to make pixel art easier to learn. You'll also find the resources in the bottom of this post!

The Pixel Art Steam guides have been updated aswell! Since the winter sale, I've had the opportunity to add many new Pixel Art badges and backgrounds into them. I hope these guides can help you in your creative endeavors.

I came here to get some help on a fan-made mega man game that i want to make! (16 pixels by 16 pixels per sprite) I already have plenty made for mega man, working on the walking cycle as of posting this, in fact! just add me if you want to help! Looking for programmers, pixel art designers, and sound designers!
