I hope you all had a wonderful second part of 2021 my dear PinHoons.
I've missed you all (the regular people I've been enjoying with my time in this Group). No angry faces please :P I like to be fair and honest. But putting pinball on hold was the correct decision.

Lately I've been checking out what's been happening in the mean time and the answer, not much...at least not in the regular game. They launched an iOS version with a bunch of exclusives!? Many of those titles seem interesting, Garfield for one.
And Pinball FX4, called Pinball FX (I hate this when companies start naming from 1 again) that is supposed to be what PF3 should already have been (instead of a ....). We'll see. Indiana Jones will be one of the launchies :D

In case anyone was wondering what I've been up to...erm, not much 0:). Looking for girfriend, playing Forza Horizons a bit, seeking dates, watching Netflix, trying to do romancing, deciding on pool cues to buy, flirting. I think that sadly covers it :D

Howdy folks!

As I'm sure all the active players saw, I'm not selecting tables or anything this Season, it's selected by one of you, the Tournament Patron.

I am asking that everyone interested in being a Patron, makes a comment to this Announcement. That includes those that have already been Patrons, repeats are accepted.
You are not required to be an active player to be a Patron. Everyone is welcome to shape this Season...as well as play of course.

Patrons task is to select a table, choose a password for ingame Tournament and think of a title for the Tournament. I am here just for questions and opinions if needed. And after the Tournament starts, you are required to write a few words on your decision making for your selections.

With the last 2 Monthlies we have concluded with Season 7. Thank you all for your great company!
While the BiWeekly Championship saw a runaway victory, there was plenty of drama in the Monthly finale, with 3 PinHoons battling for the coveted top podium placement. One a several time Champion and two fighting for their very first Championship win. Check out Monthly Season 7 Final Scoreboard and see the outcome of the Championship...



Season 8 is bringing along a few changes. The important ones that affect the proceedings are all explained in the following paragraph, so lets start here with the, lets call them cosmetic changes.

First of all, I have lowered the points Rank of Monthly Tournaments back to 1. The average PinHoon count per Tournament was just above 7, and not in one case we used up all available points.
I hope the PH/Tournament goes up as I always do and in that case I will raise the Rank, but for time being we're using Rank 1.
With the above in mind, we're always on the lookout for new and active players. If you know of any that would be a nice addition to our PinHoons family, be sure to let them aware of our Group.

Last Season I have delegated selection of played tables in many cases unto various PinHoons, myself only taking care of passwords and titles (and accompanying songs).
This Season I delegate absolutely everything, to see what you guys come up with.
Each Tournament someone I pick will decide on the featured table (from the available selection set by me ), password for the Tournament and yes, the Tournament title as well. You can find out who the selected PinHoon is in each Tournament's OP under "Tournament Patron".
I admit I was not hundred percent sure about this, but my experience with MannekenPis for the first Monthly Tournament of Season 8 reconfirmed my decision, so I look forward to see what tables you pick and your decisions on passwords and titles, that I hope selected PinHoons will also share with everyone.



The first thing you will notice, there are no more Pinball FX2 Tournaments...well, sort of.
PFX2 and PFX3 are from now on merged, similar to what has been going on in Season 3 of Chaos & Madness. You can play PFX3 InGame Tournaments or PFX2 single player. Or you can try both and find out whichever suits you better.
In turn, on the list of SubForums I have moved both PFX2 Championships to the bottom of the list.

There will be no more refferencing how many PinHoons own a table. All available tables are fair game to be featured in Tournaments.
This is to promote wider variety, and with all the sales on PC (and consoles), everyone has great chances of getting more tables for an affordable price.
The exceptions are:
-when new tables launch, they will not be featured in the current Season, perhaps in the following as well
-Williams and Bally tables, with the exception of free Fish Tales, are for now still on hold

OP's in Tournaments have been shortened even more from previous Season to the most relevant stuff, to take up less space.
Everything I deemed unnecessary I have shortened, merged, deleted or moved.
One part of this was, in Lounge SubForum I have changed "How to make a Steam screenshot and post it" into "GUIDES FOR OUR TOURNAMENTS".



With 7 Seasons behind us already, there have been several interesting achievements, statistical amusements and similar, that are a bit hard to take notice of with so many Tournaments/Threads, so hopefully very soon you will notice a new Thread in Monthly Championship SubForum and one in BiWeekly, called Hall of Fame. There I will round up some of the most interesting facts, data and info from all our Seasons.
I am aware, I still owe you something similar since the very first Season. I assure you, I still have that in mind and I do intend to finish it for that and every Season that followed/follows...

Speaking of Hall of Fame, we already have one in PinHoons Billionaires Club and everyone is welcome in joining it ;)

And let me also remind you again of a brilliant idea I had, all written in Endless Sunset Duels SubForum, ready to be commented, discussed, etc.

Up for table selection in Monthlies are all unplayed tables (minus W&B) except recently played in BiWeeklies (last Season or two). For BiWeeklies all tables are up for picking (minus W&B) except recently played ones.

I have just wrapped up both BiWeekly Championships.
You may gaze at the final outcome in their respective Scoreboard (or is it Leaderboard?) threads.

I give a nod to all active players, but I want to particularly recognize some of our newest PinHoons who came, played and nicely placed on the final S...L...whateverboard.
In the previous Seasons we've had plenty of those who came and that was basically it

One thing I am also particularly happy after this BiSeason, the average PinHoon count per Tournament is second highest of all times, second only to the second Season. One step closer to my dream of 10PH per Tournament...OK, my dream is 15 but lets not get carried away.

Not that many changes in the final (PFX3) Tourney.
Top spot was already taken beforehand by yours truly, after 2 Seasons of nAS KO's reign, thus also robbing him of a hat-trick...which might not have happened anyway with him skipping the finale and letting ParaDoxx taking over the second position by the smallest possible margin.
And that brings us to the final outcome, that was quite evenly spread among folks here from the beginning or there about, and new guys here for the last Season or so. Very nice.


Monthly finale is still on its way, 3 tables spread across both games, 2 we never played before. The Scoreboard (yes, I finally went and checked) is much more hot here, with several PinHoons aiming for top 3 positions (the board will be updated shortly after this announcement to reflect all finished Tournaments). With 26 points still in play, everything is possible.

Steam Sale is ending soon, where all the tables are on sale.
But the End of Season Prize Fiesta thread will stay live until our 7th Season closes in a few days. So jump in for chat, impressions, thoughts, ideas, wishes&gifts or anything else.
