1066 will be a singleplayer mod set during the 11th century conquest of England by the Normans.

We're still actively looking for more team members in the following fields:
-3d Modelers
-Texturers
-Sceners

Coders/Scripters if experienced (or willing to self teach) are always welcome to apply if they are able to work in a team.

We're trying to complete as much work as we can before the official tools get released.

Hey Raiders and mead addicts,

Been receiving a lot of questions about the mod and a revival. so let's make a clear announcement.

I am NOT reviving the mod, there is a group of very enthousiastic people who are doing their best to offer something playable to the community, they receive ''extra light'' aid from me at BEST for I am simply to occupied.

Messaging me or being confused that the latest files aren't shown here is hereby hopefully cleared up.

I didn't message about this yet before because as maybe many of you know...over the years many people approached me for a revival, and all failed......so as to not hype for nothing i've always taken distance from these projects.

These guys however are committed since months to make this work, so even if it doesn't...I can at least say that by now they deserve the support.

PM'ing me or moddb'ing me about any info and or details about this project is useless, if you have any questions about the server you should contact the people at the above mentioned group.

That being said, if the revival is succesfull......I have a surprise for you all in store ;) . ( Unoffical hosters and players alike ) .

The EU server is up and running without problems so far.
Download the latest patch and come join the fun!

Just to clear up some confusion amongst players.

Once the EU sever goes up ( either tonight or tomorrow ) banks/gear/faction/classes will be whiped clean.

This week was just a public béta test, and gave us enough info to tweak the gameplay/balance and remove the money glitches in the game to a point where the game is now able to become ''persistent'' in it's banking.

so once again : everything will be whiped.

We'll try and get the EU server running ASAP ,
