Ban everybody who posts a youtube review. Respond to every negative written review with "your computer is not good enough."
Even fucking EA OF ALL COMPANIES does so that doesn't excuse any other company on the planet not to
Congrats to Vec for assuming leadership.
I tried to investigate with an open mind, but It seems the main complaint, or the only complaint that I can see is about the pricing of the game.
Do you know if he has been abusing his authority at all? Deleting posts or banning people? I did not read every post on the forums.
I would fully agree with most on that thread that the price point may have been set too high. All of the responses from the Dev that I read were very fair though. I think he is taking a lot of heat and is frustrated by some of the backlash, but again just from what I have seen, he has handled himself relatively well.
People are claiming he's insulting them by saying the game may not be for them. I don't see it that way in my mind. A lot of people posting in that main thread are a little too touchy if you ask me.
I really was so angry over the whole forum BS and censorship that I wanted to get the word out to anyone who would listen. Looks like we've probably helped save 100ish people from wasting their cash at least.
The discussion doesn't have to end here though. If anyone has any ideas or thoughts on how to direct our group going forward into something that will invoke change, please feel free to speak up.
:D
Remember this is the guy who once talked about a thread he thought 4chan had taken down, lol. He locked in his knowledge of computering in like 2002 and decided to learn nothing about the internet from that day forth. He probably didn't know that the name was changed, and then couldn't find it cause he can only google his own name, lol.
He may or may not be able to code still - but he has no game as far as navigating the internet/searches/programs that he's not familiar with. He has the computering skills of someone's dad.
Hoodlums... HOODLUMS!

"This person - no banned - posted the exact same thing above, in EVERY SINGLE forum. Pretty much what another person did. Since this is a clear violation of Steam's TOS, we've reported it. All others have been deleted, but we're keeping this one up so others can see what we're dealing with here and why we're so stringent with the rules."
So, leave this as an example for everyone, but try and whitewash/bury legitimate comments and critiques that have earned people bans. Once again, flawless logic.
His posted saying our group is dead, I replied with no we're not dead and we have 45ish members (not exactly word for word what I said, but there was no malice at all)
I'm happy to see the size of this group has doubled in the last 24 hours. Get the word out.
He totally doesn't know why that guy was banned. Riiiiiigggggghhhht.
He wants that game to fail SO BAD because it's going to eat his lunch.
"I'll Crowdfund Battlesqueezer 4.5k also! Give me 40 million dollars!"
"I thought LOD was going to come out this year - it's nearly 3 years late."
"I CAN DO BOTH!!"
"No you can't Derek - frankly you can rarely finish one."
Also, we should make a first annual "Good Guy Dev Days" for like the first week of April (since let's face it, we're all fools) where buy games from devs other community members recommend. Because we could influence good behavior along with bad behavior.

Someone posted a 6 year old review of Galcom from IGN, which it was scored a 6/10, using it as proof that the game is good. I had to laugh a little at that. I notice that a good number of people defending Smart's games are private profiles.
If I wore a tinfoil cap I might think they were people being compensated to speak praise of a game without providing any proof they not just own the game... but really have played it.
And naturally they have a nice conversation about how the scoring system totally makes the game look bad "by todays scoring standard".
I made this tongue-in-cheek post, hoping that anyone with a sense of humor, would recognize it as such: humor. I was wrong to assume this.
Valve really needs to take a moment to look at this guy and see just what they are supporting.

Somebody asked dsmart if he had "Narcissistic personality disorder".
The guy most likely does, and from his response is sexist.
Constantly disregarding gender when they are corrected saying it has "no relevance" just proves he's very sexist.
And last but not least, threading legal action against somebody for slander.
Just 1 problem, he has to PROVE it's not true, which he of course can't (not unless he doctors some up).
In all honesty, that will never happen, since it seems this guy is content with releasing shovelware. If it weren't for Steam, he'd be relegated to the $5 Jewel Case bin at Wal-Mart.
