EA Spyware

As explicit as you would have never imagined, EA’s Origin license agreement states that the program is free to act exactly as spyware and that the only way to opt out of that is not to install or use it at all.

According to the service’s EULA, by installing the client program the user gives EA permission to identify his computer, operating system, installed/uninstalled software/hardware, and use that information for marketing purposes while merrily sharing it with third party companies.

Origin is required mandatorily to play Battlefield 3 on the PC.

Actually, if anyone reads the steam EULA. Steam only collects data from itself and software directly used by it. The origin EULA has no such restrictions and can collect ALL software and hardware data at will, as well as transmit them to third parties WITHOUT consent.

You know what this info is that it collects? Computer specs. They, and other companies, have ben doing this for years with bug reports, hell Microsoft does this. Are people freaking out over Microsoft? No. This is the same shit that happened in BF2142 when that came out and look what happened, NOTHING! Stop freaking out over something that isn't what it is.

Shut your butthole kid, read actual eula's- I agree its shitty to pay for something then they fuck u over with bullshit program strings. heck. facebook and myspace (all the others including steam) have the same thing, the thing is that its free and steam asks you before if u would like to participate in anything.

Fuck ea and origin, and dont buy fucking bafflefield3 Its just going to be as lame as the other's
