Stop Badge Spam!

As part of the Community Ambassador badge, Valve is asking their users to make a post within Steam's discussions area which leads to thousands of trash posts like "just for the badge", "asdf" or similar spam each day that clutters the forum and makes it hard for users looking for help to get an appropriate answer.

This group's aim is to get this specific task removed or replaced by an alternative like "View a Steam Discussions thread" that doesn't actually require you to make a post.

Hello, I have a problem in the game CS: GO. On my account, a lock from the Patrol for inappropriate behavior. The account inventory for 12,500 rubles ($ 210). In the game more than 3,000 hours, the length of service in years is 3 years. I was first blocked for 36 days, which expires on January 10. Then after 2 days another lock comes to me, but I did not play between the locks at that time. I should not have come a second lock. I've never played with cheats. Please, help.

Ok..badge spam threads are just as bad as ever it seems and I am not seeing them getting locked, and they attract more and more spam. What has changed, if anything ?
