Ranks separated by a / are equal by skill but not by their field of expertise. Teachers specializing in space or ground combat will have a rank given from training expertise (Padawan, Knight, Master, Grand Master) and a rank based on their specialization and skill (such as Captain or Colonel). Rank types are G (Ground combat), S (Space combat) and T (Teacher). Players who are equally good at space and ground combat will be denoted by a (GS) instead of a (G) or a (S) and will choose their rank from either rank tier (Note that you can only be from one rank sequence, so you can for example, only be a Vice Admiral or a General). Teachers will be denoted by a (T) for all-round teachers, a (GT) for ground-specializing teachers, or a (ST) for space-specializing teachers. After the specialization mark, their ingame name will be displayed.

Supplemental: Recruit is the only rank without alternate names for other career trees, any other ranks without alternates will not be ranked up until the next alternate comes (for example, while a Private would go to Corporal to Sergeant to Lieutenant, an Ensign will rank directly towards Lieutenant, still taking the same amount of time as he would have had he been a Private - rank is chosen by specialization!!!)

Players are ranked by skill, this being demonstrated in various situations. However there are occasions where a player may receive a rank based on what he's done, not how skilled he is. Rank list is as follows:
Leader: quite impossible to reach without special events
Co-Leader: only the most skilled of players can earn this rank. they answer to nobody but the leaders
Grand Admiral/Marshall/Grand Master: these are earned through extreme skill in space battles, ground battles, or success in teaching other players.
Admiral/Field Marshall: these are earned through vast skill in space battles, ground battles, or teaching other players.
Vice Admiral/General: these are earned through impressive skill in space battles, ground battles, or teaching other players.
Rear Admiral/Major General/Master: these are earned through interesting skill in space or ground battles.
Captain/Brigadier General: these are earned through skill in space or ground battles.
Commander/Colonel: these are earned through skill in space or ground battles.
Lieutenant Commander/Lieutenant Colonel: these are earned in space or ground battles. all ranks in the list from now are marked only by name.
Major
Captain/Knight: These are earned in ground battles or through teaching players.
Lieutenant/Lieutenant
Sergeant
Corporal
Ensign/Private/Padawan
Graduate/Graduate/Apprentice: these are the last training ranks.
Cadet/Trainee/Youngling: these are the intermediate training ranks, and the first ranks to differentiate between the three different types of player - Pilot, Soldier, Teacher (space battle, ground battle, teaching lower ranks how to play)
Recruit: the lowest training rank, this is the starting rank of (No) members.
NOTE: Teachers must specialize in one of the other two classes (Pilot, Soldier) or be good at both.
EDIT: If there is no specialization, the player can choose which rank name to use (for example, a player of the rank General can choose to be a General or a Vice Admiral). See Players (sorted by rank) for an explanation on blank ranks.

As the original clan used Xfire instead of Steam for communication, it is possible that they are not aware of (No) returning to Star Wars Battlefront 2. In this case, it would be a good idea to tell an original (No) member about the clan's return, thus allowing it to become an official part again. Also, you may notice that SWBF1 members have a different tag: -={No}=- This is due to a change in the tag some time after my founding the original SWBF2 section, which has made player names rather difficult to squeeze in due to the character limit imposed by SWBF2 as well as SWBF1 in player names. As a result, the original tag, (No), remains in use by the SWBF2 section of the clan.

As i was unable to find any good screenshots or pictures for the clan 'avatar', i would like anybody who can do so to find a picture. Note that if i or any of the clan officers deem the picture inappropriate in any way, it will be removed.
