For those who didn't see the annoucement, Aryte has resigned from New Jessie. New Jessie is expected to close by 10/05/12. Here is a copy of Aryte's post on the forums:

Salutations New Jessie,

I'll make this quick. The last nine months or so have been a fun ride. Managing New Jessie on top of my existing obligations was something of a suicide wish, albeit one that was made possible by the assistance of leagues of great folks on the administration team. So, foremost, thank you very much to all of the folks involved in keeping the wheel turning. Further, thank you to all of you folks who have simply shown up and made New Jessie the interesting place that it is.

Unfortunately, the time is just no longer there to give New Jessie the attention it deserves-- and the attention it needs to be perpetually successful. I have offered management back to both Liana and Caine, but they remain predisposed with their own adventures. As such, I would like to extend the invitation out to the community: if you so desire to keep New Jessie around, we will be happy to consider serious offers for assuming ownership of the region. To make such an offer, simply shoot me a message on SL and I'd be happy to speak with you.

Failing that, we will not be renewing New Jessie next month. That would put the region's last date of life around 10/05/12. Although unfortunate to see such a page turning, I am happy to have had the chance to extend the life of the region for nearly another year.
