The Future of Yesterday, Today!

This group was created for the Steam user community to encourage demos for all games.

We are not a review curator. We do not care if the games are good or bad, as that is individually subjective. If the demo has not been played by us, we will simply mention that the game has a demo, but if we enjoyed it or it was noteworthy for a well-crafted demo, we will say so.

Whatever your genre, if you've bought games on Steam without trying them first, you've probably been disappointed at least once. Steam now has a refund policy that allows you to play games for up to two hours and within two weeks and still request a refund. You are still spending money on an untested product and have a timeline for refund. This will never be an acceptable alternative to a playable demo.

I ask that you lend your voice to this group in asking Steam to suggest companies provide playable demos. If your game has a demo or if you have a game demo in mind that is not on our list, let us know and we will add it to our collection.

You can sort the search to include having demos, which is great, and these are the products we want to bring attention to. We won the demo war, with being able to filter for demos and the refund policy, but we still have many battles to win with publishers and developers.
