-C++
If you can code for ES and python and more.

Also

-Mappers
Someone who can make maps with more then your average detail.

-Skin Tec's
People who can make and edit models and materials.

I am looking for someone who knows what they are doing 100%
NO LIES, NO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, NO STUFFING around. You dont have to play CSS
You just need to know what you are doing 100% in reguards to CSS servers. As I said, this position is not for the faint hearted its only for the people who know what they are doing.

How it works and servers

You will be tested.
A test server will be provided and a task set out with a reasonable deadline. If you cannot complete a simple task or have to ask how its done, or what is what, then do not apply.

If you can create event scripts from scratch, that will be a big advantage.
Someone who knows ( source mod, mani, python and more )

IF you can make and adjust to the servers needs and requirements for the following servers.

1. Gun games
2. surf mods
3. zombie mods
4. war mods
5. MvP ( Marines vs Predators )

Marines vs Predators is a VERY TRICKY mod and will require someone with extensive knowledge with player models, materials, sounds and ES codes as well as source mod.
Being able to force the server models on players, so players cannot use their own models. as well as players shadows and restricted weapons for select teams and more tricky things.

I am also looking for web developers/designers and someone who can setup forums.
If you are the correct person who and can setup forums you will be paid for the setup upon its completion.

As I said before, If you are successful and want the job you will be paid for your work, and to maintain future updates.
We will have to work out a rate of pay for the person(s) who are successful applicants for the server technicians and web developers

EG If you can setup the forums within a few hrs then that could be a few hundred $$$ for you.
If you setup One server, depending on the server you setup that could also be the same.
But if one individual can set it all up ( servers and forums ) lets say within a day or two, well then that can be an easy one thousend dollars tax free for you. No joke

I do not need donations and all servers will be provided...

My goal is to have the Grub gaming network back online and running 100% by this coming xmas hoildays...

The new server is a Gungame Rush server


The standard rules apply for player abuse etc
and the new rules are
1. You can only camp if you are on Awp or Scout.
2. You must rush out of your spawn at the round start, and reach your opponents spawn before you can turn around

Tips for Counter-strike:source


First tip

Open your counterstrike game. Go to options Click the multiplayer tab and down the bottom right you will see a little box, set it to..
ALLOW CUSTOM FILES FROM SERVER.
This will allow you to download any custom file from any server that you connect to.

Second tip

Once a month, after many new downloads of maps models etc. I recommend you defrag your css to help the game run at its best.
Open your steam library, right click on counter-strike:source, go to properties/local files and you will see (Defragment of Cache Files) click it and let it do its thing.
Also recommend you do Verify Integrity Of Game Cache.. as well.


Map or models issues related.


Some players seem to have a few probs with MvP maps.
You may see a msg showing
( CRC Missing map maps/mvp_MAP NAME_fix bsp, disconnecting )

Marines vs Predators news and updates

Grubgaming Marines Vs Predators [ 66tick, fastDL ]

Updates

Predators now have the ability to make themselves visible and invisible at will.
Just like the real predators. This new ability is so that Predators can taunt the Ct's ( Marines ) Now you see me, now you dont.

Just use your night-vision key to start your new ability and it will tell you if you are invisible or visible.
This new update was added for the Predators to play games with Marines.

New dead talk
Now all dead players can talk to one another, Just like all talk but for dead players only. This gives all players a chance to talk to everyone via mic.
So, if you are going to talk team tactics on the mic, remember to do it when you are alive.


Future updates

Marines will soon have a med pack.
Just like any elite special forces unit there is always one medic close by. A new script is in the making to limit the healing ability of 1 marine each round.

How it works.

At the start of each round, a random player on the CT team will be selected to be the medic with the abliltiy to heal anywhere up to 300 hp for players on their own team.


Predators

Predators will have their own night-vision sounds and unique predator taunting sounds, With my own re-recorded/edited sounds.


Fun times

Fun times are extra things admins will be able to do at any time, this will allow players to use things like a jetpack and more.

Redie

Redie will be added later on. How it works. Players will be able to type !redie in chat once they die and respawn as a ghost. 100% invisible and will not be able to interfere with the alive players in anyway.
This option may be added so players can do more than just watch the game once they die.
